FXAA is a pretty decent balance between processing performance and quality if you don't mind the softening of edges. More advanced AA produces a better result but the performance impact is generally far more significant. Can't you undelete it? I didn't know that FXAA is special for Nvidia cards. Like I said in my deleted post, I'm new to PC gaming so there's a lot I don't know.
