I would like to play Free Aim (as I get the impression the players are more mature)..

 

Totally true, better gameplay quality and and no teenagers yelling at the mic. I don't matter emptier lobbies since i'm always on a private session joining jobs on call.

 

The OP should have created a quote for votes. Free aim forever, let the lock on feature to the kids.

Missions, usually assisted. I'm still trying to wrangle first person controls.

 

Free roam = free aim. I hate getting shot out of my car every 3 blocks.

I play in first person a lot, and I find auto aim to be incredibly awkward in FPV, so..

Free Aim. Best way to play.

I just use the default settings to get into lobbys with more people, I think the default is assisted aim partial? I tried the other settings but I always got a full 30 player lobby on the default settings, plus this isn't PC, free aim on console is crap.

Free-aim assisted, because I can't aim for my life in first-person view mode without a little bit of stickiness. I hate the initial lock-on though.

 

In third-person, full free-aim. I've gotten used to that.

Assisted aim here. I wanted to become a pure free aimer with fpv in the Far Cry fashion but I find it's just too effin hard against NPC enemies. You can't even peep from cover without everyone insta-spraying you. R* went way OP on NPC accuracy with new gen.

just coming back from a stint in destiny and auto/assisted aim just seems to make the game too easy...

i'll use auto aim in survival just cos there's so much to shoot..

but first person in freeroam and missions it's gotta be free aim.

auto aim always locks on to some random npc anywho...

I use whatever is default, I believe it is assisted-partial. I would use free aim assisted, if they would fix the deadzone in the FPS view. It makes it (for me at least) difficult to be accurate.
