Conveniently enough, I titled the video in a similar manner. The health differentiation is honestly the downfall and cancer of this game.

 

At this point, I'm convinced I'd be better off throwing my 30 round mags at the guy rather than shooting him.

 

Background - I restarted my character and did not want to buy any DLC weapons. This is usually how my gunfights turn out.

Tip on my part, get the Micro SMG. The damage doesnt do crap, but it helps train your headshots.

 

The big problem is that youre aiming centermass in a video game

I agree with what you guys are saying, but look closely, you can see at least 7 to 10 bullets impacting his head. I'd like to see him in real life take 7 to 10 7.62 rounds

and still perform cognitive functions as easily as that.

I do care. It's almost as bad as Halo, and that's why I never got into Halo. I dont want to empty 2 or 3 gun chargers before I kill someone. 2-3 good placed shots should do the trick. And 1 for the headshots.

A rocket launcher is kill on impact, that would invariably determine if your opponent was cheating. AND at least in that situation you'd be able to guarantee a kill on him even if it meant you went down in the process. Did you test this? Quite honestly there are better weapons you should be using. The .50 pistol is insta-kill if you land a head shot, three-five otherwise (you can avg. it to 2 if you land in the chest). Shotguns are good for close impact. Bullpup/Advanced Carbine are easily the best well-rounded Assault Rifles in game, we're talking deadly in terms of firepower and accuracy. It also didn't help that you rolled when he did. There's no need unless he is shooting.

 

EDIT: Did you also test your connection? Usually a lack of kill after emptying that much into someone is indicative of connectivity trouble. You could be lagging.

You can't complain when you have an Assault Rifle on hand.

The accuracy of that weapon is horrible in comparison of the one in a Carbine Rifle or an Advanced Carbine.

I'm not entirely sure at this point whether it was lag or just the health because I do know health increases as you level and that guy was a 200+.

 

The AK should have a lot more damage because it's accuracy really is mediocre. You'd think the balance of shooters is that the gun with the least accuracy has high damage.

I think your just using a weak gun , plus you have a silencer on which makes it weaker, and who knows, the guy could have been wearing body armour and if his a higher player he could have more health, I tend to equip my body armour in gun fights, it gives you that bit of edge

There is indeed a heavier recoil on certain weapons..

Ofcourse if you going to argue that fact you will learn it the hard way.. By dying because of the missing crucial hits

 

Three things you want to try =

1: Gold medal every single challenge @ the shooting range

2: play a couple hours/sessions/days in free aim

3: if you are a proud owner of a next gen copy of gta 5 play it in first person mode , that way you can see the recoil a whole lot better.

Pretty sure it's lag. The servers right now (at least on the Xbox One) are utter crap. It takes about 5 seconds for the bullet damage to register. I shot this guy a few times with an Assault Shotgun, nothing happened for a few seconds and then he suddenly drops dead and I got the kill. Guess we'll have to wait it out in the meantime before Rockstar gets their sh*t together.

This is not proof of the poor server quality which is what i think you are suggesting. I see survivable body shots, a couple of neck shots and one head shot at the end. The guy is wearing a bulletproof helmet and you are shooting with a notoriously unruly weapon. sh*t, u may have just skimmed his cheekbone, like a little beach boy kiss.

 

Here is the correct place to write: 'git gud nub'

 

And bitch noone will think of ur weak ass losing when you ask them what is the epitome of GTA. More like the first time u murder a hooker with a baseball bat to get ur money back after getting serviced.

But we're talking about the Assault Rifle, you unlock it very early (level 24 i think) it's the very first assault rifle you get (not counting DLC weapons) it must be somehow worse than higher level weapons, which are military like (see the Carbine, Advanced Rifle, and Special Carbine) while a "cheap chinese made" AK47 is common between professional criminals.
