Which missions have the best payout now?

I haven't done missions in a long time. The last time I played them, Rooftop Rumble had the best payout (about $18,700). I just played RR twice and each time I earned only $11,250, bummer. Not sure if it matters, I'm on last gen.

Thanks in advance.

Well, I played "Trash Talk" three separate times with varying amounts of teammates and earned different payouts each time.

1st (1 Friend): $17,600

2nd (Solo) $20k

3rd (2 Friends) about $15k

I don't know if it splits money in some way now or what, all I know is that it varied each time I did it. I'd say its one of the easiest missions even solo.

rooftop rumble is the shortest of the high level missions

but I got the feeling the rp and cash award decrease anytime you do it in a row

All missions are about the same now...

Each mission payout is related to the time it takes to complete and how many players on the job.

Rooftop still pays the best I think.. after 4 and a half minutes at 14K and maybe 3K RP

A Titan of a Job.

Seems to have the best payout with 2 people or more. It's a relatively quick mission haven't tried it on solo yet but I did get 20k when playing the mission with 2 people

Objectively speaking; Trash Talk.

Every mission pays out by a certain mathematical formula: http://gtaforums.com/topic/614195-job-reward-database-rp-cash/page-24?do=findComment&comment=1066085697

In short:

x = $6000+20*level

First variant=Difficulty

Easy difficulty = x

Normal difficulty = 1,25x

Hard difficulty = 1,5x

Second variant=Time to complete

0 - 1min = 0,1x

1 - 2min = 0,25x

2 - 3min = 0,5x
3 - 4min = 0,75x

4 - 6min = x
6 - 8min = 1.2x
8 - 10min = 1.4x
10 - 12min = 1.6x
12 - 15min = 1.8x
over 15min = 2x

Third variant=Amount of players

1 player = x

2 players = 1,1x

3 players = 1,2x

4 players or more = 1,3x

So the best theoretical payout is Trash Talk, since it unlocks at level 81 and has the highest unlock level of all the missions. When 4-6 players complete Trash Talk in hard difficulty in 15 minutes or more, the payout is 29 720$.

(6000+20*81)*1,5*2*1,3 = 29,720

edit.

max payout for Rooftop Rumble (level 75) = 29 250$

level 60 mission max payout = 28 080$

level 40 mission max payout = 26 520$

level 20 mission max payout = 24 960$

level 5 mission max payout = 23 790$

...so the difference is quite small between starting levels, the most important thing is to fulfill the First and Third variants, and make sure the time taken in the mission is at least 4 minutes. ...if you are looking for maximum effectiveness in money-grinding.

Note: I would dispute the need to take at least 4 mins.

The payout in relation to time means that completing a mission in over 2 minutes but under 3, or just over 4 mins is the most efficient way to make money. If you complete a mission in a little over 2 mins, you will get 50% of the payout that you would get from taking 4-6 mins, but you will also have taken 50% less time to do it, so it balances out.

Anything under two minutes or over 5 though, and you are technically losing money.

If that's too precise - aim for between 2 and 6 mins.

I have no understanding of why people would play rooftop rumble anymore, at least not with strangers.

The risk of getting into a RR mission that fails is about 50/50 in my experience unless you have some teammates who understand how to not cause the auto-Fail.

And thus, I prefer the missions Landing Gear, Wet Work, Titan of a Job, Chumash & Grab, Landing Strip, Base Invaders, and Chop Chop. Landing Gear is by far my favorite mission.

And add 2 wasted minutes for reloading between each replay. :p sad but true
