What cars should/should not be modified with neon under glow?

What the title says. Although, should say 'which' and not 'what' but I can't edit it now xD

 

In your opinion, which vehicles do you guys think should or should not be equipped with neon under glow?

 

Whilst I appreciate some people would say, it's tacky full stop, and other people (GiantGiants) would attach every modification available regardless of how aesthetically pleasing it is, it would be interesting to know how this part of the community feel about it.

 

I'm still on last gen and don't plan on getting current gen for some time, but when I do I plan on repurchasing the Elegy and Intruder, just so I can add under glow to those cars.

 

I'm a 90's baby and I remember 'street racers' driving around my local area with under glow - tbh I think I'm like a moth - I'm just attracted to lights - reason why I was so annoyed when they got rid of Police Cars in garages.

Afterthought, it's easier to think of cars which would look good with them than trying to think of those which wouldn't.

 

I'm sure, as this is GTAForums this will turn into the ugliest car competition but if at least one person (excluding me) could stay in topic, I consider this topic a success!

The Warrener would be the worst if you add all the weird visual customisations.

 

 

Many cars would look good but I won't list them. My brain hurts after trying to visualise the cars mentionned above with neons.

I think it might look ok on some sport cars, but awful in supers. The reason being is that in supers it would look overdone. I don't really know. I would have to try and see how it would look on my Coquette.

no muscle cars unless you are making a replica car. Example: a replica of this Mustang would be fine

Same goes for supers. This is just my opinion. Do whatever you want to do!

i put it on whatever i want dont worry what other people say its ur personal opinion, iv been putting them only under the front bumper though thats how i like it, not all around the car.

I plan to put one under my sabres front bumper i use the black light neon.

I like neon on most 90's tuners like the Supra, Skyline, 3000GT/GTO and RX-7 but despite what some of you may think, I actually dispise it on most Honda's underglow shouldn't be on a Civic or a CR-X and this goes for any other small, sporty compact like the MR-S.

 

As well as small compacts neons should never be put on muscle cars or any classic car for that matter, I've only ever seen one classic with neons and I felt like scooping my eyes out with a spoon. It was 2010 and I was on holiday in Miami with some friends near the beach we seen a oragne late 70's Camaro (1977 to be exact) that had some tasteful mods like a small air intake, nice rims and the small lip spoiler that came with the stock version. However those mods didn't change the fact that it had a dark blue underglow kit, it wasn't too bright but it ruined the car nonetheless.

 

Back to topic: I think that underglow should only be put on cars that can pull of a lot of mods like the Sultan, Elegy or Sentinel muscle and classic cars are a no go.

You know what man, I think anyone should put whatever the fug they want on whatever the fug they own. Who the fug do i think I am to tell people their taste is not acceptable. If I think underglow looks ugly on a car but someone finds it appealing, who the fug am i? Some type of superior being with the perfect taste and styles?

 

My answer is....

 

ALL CARS SHOULD GET UNDERGLOW, as long as the owner of said vehicle likes it.
