I read you can also change radio stations by wiping up/down on the touch pad.

the ps4 controller is the best feeling thing I've held

Guess you haven't held a Xbox 360 (can't speak for Xbox One, but I guess it feels better too) controller then.
You serious? I own a 360. Sub average, I preferred the PS controller over it. The ps4 controller is on another level compared to either of those. The best ever (easily) I suggest you try one.
I own both consoles too. IMO the 360 controller lays better in the hands. Additionally to that I don't really like the L2 and R2 triggers since they feel cheeper and have less resistance than the ones of the 360 controller, my left thumb sometimes cracks when I'm moving the left stick and the sticks felt better on my thumbs on the Xbox 360 controller at all. The controller is one of the few things IMO that Xbox can do better than PS.

Playstation - Japan - Small handed people

Xbox - America - Big handed people

(Generalization, clearly, but holds a truth)

I think this is the reason why xbox controllers feel more comfortable. PS controllers always felt a little on the small side.

I just discovered this yesterday and I was pretty damn amused by it:

Your character stars rocking out to whatever is on the radio when you afk in a car. His actions even depend on the kind of music that's playing! We totally need to get four people in that Wayne's World car and play Channel X! Would make for an awesome video!

Nah, PS controllers suck because of buttons and sticks placement.

From my experience, these are the added additions on PS4:

-The controller's lightbar changes colour to the current protagonist you're playing as (Orange for Trevor, Blue for Michael, Green for Franklin).

-The controller's lightbar also flashes between blue and red when being chased by the cops.

-Noises such as the phone, police comms, and sometimes comms between you and a character (for example, in Franklin and Lamar, when you are racing him) will come from the controller, this can be toggled on or off however.

-Using the touchpad you can switch weapons or radio stations; up/down for radio and left/right for weapons, the normal controls such as using L1 to switch weapons on foot and using square in vehicles, and left(?) on the d-pad to switch radio stations still remain.

Also there are things like more vegetation around the map and other minor visual changes. Comparing with the Xbox 360 controller the PS4 controller feels much more comfortable (especially comparing with the PS3 one).

I could be missing some stuff but that's all what comes to me from memory.

I don't have it yet but First person mode, the mine shaft, you can enter the fort zancudo tower now...you can hang off the side and shoot from the dodo plane...

there are different walking styles

cars sound much better and more realistic

===========================================================================

are people on here really arguing about controllers

you made your choice, you like what you like, how is dissing the other console gonna do anything????

I prefer PS but that doesn't make Xbox sh*t, SMH!

Yes, they are also a little small for my taste. I'm a big white European male who wants big controllers that fit into my big hands and feel strong and heavy. Not saying I hate the PS controllers and that they are bad, but IMO the Xbox ones are def better.

You say arguing, I say we are debating.

There is nothing heated in this discussion that I can see, everyone is civilly putting forward their opinions on controllers.

As for the "how is dissing on the other console" thing, we aren't. In this day and age, where adapters exist for everything, system choice has nothing to do with controller choice. (If you want it to then that's fine too).

After all, MS supposedly spent $100 million on the Xbone's controller. http://www.computerandvideogames.com/423871/features/the-100m-story-behind-the-xbox-one-controller/

Nah, PS controllers suck because of buttons and sticks placement.

So because this person doesn't like it, it sucks

anyway im not here for that, im here to see what new stuff people have found so debate away!

I hope the mods ban the idiots who use the term master race.

Well, you yourself often ridicule PS3/X360 and its owner.

It got you those awesome sheriff stars under your name now.

I think the best feature the PS4 has is not being able to add an external hard drive!

Who would want that? I'm so glad Sony was smart enough to block me from playing mp3's!

Who knows, if I had a hard drive I might be tempted to do something illegal with it!

Thank you mama Sony for keeping me honest :die:

You can play mp3s from a flash drive.

Wow! a flash drive! Why didn't they just put a slot for a 3.5 stiffy disk?

I'm European, I have just the same hands if not bigger than an American. Trust me, any talk like this and I know you haven't spent time with the ps4 controller. Its just that good. You'll have to trust me.

Any USB drive - not just "flash drives". I've got a 500GB external HD attached to mine for transferring video to PC. I'm loving the speed of USB 3.0. It's the first time I've bothered trying it.

Wait, what about the vibrating shoulder/trigger buttons? Is that a real thing?

What, are they supposed to vibrate separately to the controller? That doesn't sound likely. I've certainly not noticed it. If anything the vibration has been toned down on the PS4 controllers, which I prefer since I had it turned off on PS3 due to it being uncomfortable in places and a battery killer as well.

On Xbone.

Probably added as a feature to the controller as Forza is Xbox's flagship sim racer. Outside of racing games I don't know how well it would work.

When I'm In my apartment I can see the whole map menu on the ps4 I've tried it in xbox one it didn't work.

If it's what I am thinking, on the map menu just press the "back" button, or "select".

Sorry but you've been able to do that since the game came out. It'll show you the map of what you're inside (whatever that may be), and you press select to see the full map ;)

SIM Racer and controller. LOL Please tell me more how wiggling a stick and squeezing a trigger is Simulated Racing.

It's simulated. That's how it's simulated racing. It's clearly not the same as the real thing, but it's simulated. It's not meant to be the same as the real thing. Just a simulation of it.

I would agree with this 100%, I went to playstation but the controller is ergonomically ass and the thumbsticks are still kind of convex.

(I would spend a lot for a ps4 controller with concave thumbsticks...)

Not sure if this has been said, but when browsing the internet you can scroll the cursor around with the touchpad.

Face it, Xbox One, you guys are still stuck in last gen.

It's the new generation of gaming and you guys are still relying on AA batteries.

PC Master Race

PS4 and Xboners - peasants

Now it's correct.

And here we go again. Poor side of PC players can't hold their sh*t so they have to shove their l33t skillz down everybody's ass.

They're just inferior so they shout louder to compensate.

Consoles have been around longer than PCs, therefore they're better.

Virtually everyone has a PC, therefore they're cheap, common crap.

Facts win out every time.

(I'm joking, you "judge people by what they own" douche).

Funnily enough, the only PS platform that I don't own neither played is the PS4. F*ck, I still own my 5-years-old PS1. :p
