Empty Jobs? [PS4]

Hey guys, first of all sorry about this post if it is a repeat however i feel it is important to say I am NOT talking about free mode empty lobbies.

 

It seems that whenever i try to host or join a job i cannot find a single person other than my friends that join, i choose every invite option and leave matchmaking open but nobody seems to join.

 

As i didn't have the game on last gen could somebody tell me if lobbies every fill out and the servers are still a bit buggy or whether this is how it is going to be forever.

I've been jumping from mission to mission playing with different people, no problem at all.

 

I join missions via the phone.

 

Job > Contact Mission > Alone (don't pick 'on call' because for whatever reason you're most likely to be kicked by the host.)

From what I can tell, you are only "inviting" a certain set of people and the invites don't pick someone new if someone declines the invite. So if no one of the, say 50, invites wants to play, you're out of luck.

 

Do what SubZero says and just join random missions using the "alone". It should put you into missions that others started, which would at least let you have someone else to play with, most of the time...

I just joined a job with an "on call host". Twice in a row

 

Edit. The system seems to be breaking more frequent
