Raindancer
Don't know if anyone here can help – essentially I need to run either Ghost11 or Acronis2010 in 1920x450 from boot (I am unable to plug another monitor in and boot onto that) is there a script I could run to force this resolution? The reason behind this is that I am trying to load an image onto the CPU and can only see half the screen, have got around this by pressing TAB / Arrow keys certain amount of times to get to the desired menus (ghost) or on Acronis, am guessing where the mouse pointer is… as you can imagine it’s a pain in the arse! GG14876
Other than saying it might be possible to run the program on another computer and mimic the actions on each computer (probably easier with Ghost, as you'll just need to match key hits), I can't really help... Sorry. Though, the main reason I'm posting is that, well, I would just like to know how this happened... I mean, only part of a whole screen and you can't replace it... I don't think I've heard of that before. I'm guessing that it's a combination of screen damage and the computer is "locked" away somewhere else... perhaps a server? Raindancer
Its for this - hard to explain, this is how an image appears when running with win7POS, the trouble we have if I put ghost or Acronis on and run from boot.... we dont see the bottom of the screen (Its a digital Taxi top.. like the ones in New York, except this is here in London) Edited November 26, 2014 by Raindancer
GG14876
Huh, that's pretty interesting... Thanks for that info. Bit of a random idea, but I would send a letter or something to whoever made that setup suggesting that they make it a tad more accessible. Well, I tried a quick search and I think these two links might help: https://kb.acronis.com/content/3836 & http://www.wilderssecurity.com/threads/changing-screen-resolution-of-acronis-bootable-rescue-media.231356/ I'm not certain if it will work on your rather unique screens, but it's apparently the only topics covering it out there... Well, aside from what I can only assume is your own post on Acronis's forum and this thread...
