You get better with time, yesterday, a guy had no idea how I could kill him so much. I was on top of a building and he was hiding behind a wall, I threw grenades and killed him 3 times. After that, I sniped him 5 or 6 times, faster than him. It's skills, you know.

Don't discount the tools outside of the game.

 

If you have a trick controller, you have all kinds of advantages, with regards to run 'n' gun. You have to aim, run, move and shoot. That's 3 buttons and 2 joysticks to control. Figure that out.

 

Or buy a trick controller.

Simple answer - play a lot. You just get better.

 

This.. When I met the guys I'm in a crew with now they used to kick my arse in deathmatches on a regular basis. I wasn't a DM player at the time so didn't have the skill level they did. After playing with them for a while I'm winning against them most of the time now.

We do a 1v1 championship in our crew and I am currently champion with a 6 defence streak going against the same guys that used to smash me. Just goes to show that practice and determination will take you a very long way if you stick with it.

With the combat roll it's important to remember DO NOT roll first unless you absolutely have to as anyone with experience will counter roll and still get the kill on you.

Practice your free aim when you can too, as it makes long range an option and means you don't have to rely on AA all the time.

And never forget to flick your stick up for the headshots.

Being decent at this game, GTA 4, RDR, etc., sucks because everyone either calls you a hacker, a lagger, cheater, etc. It's like it's impossible to be better than anyone, if you are expect votes to kick.

but this game, it's too easy. You have such a huge field of view, readily available arsenal, and all you have to do is be smart and not die first, or ever.

Dude, you're level 26:

Your heath bar is smaller as other's health, and you haven't gained access to better weapons, try leveling up until level 70 so you will stand a chance against the others.

Here are some useful tips:

-Spam combat rolling, literally, it takes you out of the enemies lock on aim for a second, giving enough time to counter attack;

-Always shoot for the head,if you're using a automatic weapon then use burst fire instead sprayin' and prayin';

-Always keep your body armor on, also keep some extra body aromor in your inventory;

-Also alwaays keep some snacks in your inventory, eat them while driving, in cover, aiming so you instantly regenerate health;

-Go to any clothes store and get a team outifit, the outfit is not relevant but the ballistic helmet can save you from getting instantly killed by a head shot.

This. Btw if you can't kill them even with these tips then thy must be lagging or using a god mode glitch. Practise this on NPC's first or get a friend to help. Play a lot of survivals and you should get the hang of it. Also if you are in Free Aim. STAY THE AWAY FROM COVER! Cover is a horrible idea in free aim if you are fighting a high level or experienced player.

But if OP is a novice in this game then he should stay out of Free-aim lobbies, it takes skill to get used to free aim combats.
