i started to notice that when you walk in the stores now you get the generic greeting when before on last gen you get a different greeting for owning the collectors.

 

Also I noticed tha even though I owned the PS3 collectors I still have to pay for the 3 cars that were free on last gen.

 

Anyway I just noticed this tiny thing plus I know the discount isn't active from the ce.

 

Anyone seeing this as well?

Yup the tattoo guy used to say "whoa your a vip my boss told me to look after you"

 

The suburban girl used to say "well I guess since ur vip I can keep an eye on you"

i didnt know the ammunation guy comments were due to me owning the special edition...

 

whenever i walk in he goes like "oooh we got a special vip custumer" or "i would have showered if i knew i had a vip customer coming" and stuff like that...

 

on top of that you have 2 guys attending you, so the service is extra fast!

On PS3 only the first avatar would get the discount in Ammu-Nation, the second not. Both avatars get the VIP salutation in all ammo and clothing stores.

 

On PS4 the CE cars are free, but no VIP salutation or discount. Guess the VIP days are over. To stock up ammo do a survival.

 

Never saw a armored truck driving aroundon PS4, but I mostly sit in invite only. Maybe its a public lobby only thing now.

I noticed this too, but then I moved from my CE PS3 disc to a pleb new gen disc on PS4. Kinda miss my free .50 (my fav gun) but noticed we all (returning players) get the CE clothes/cars. Pissed off I have to pay for the extra garage space in SP too...

I got the special edition and I remember the dude from Ammunation greeting me differently, allways something like; you are a VIP, or you get a special discount.

Didn't get that on the PS4 tho

I do miss Bob Mulet greeting me with "A special cut for a special customer..." and "Well aren't you looking special today?"

 

Best part of owning the CE tbh...

 

Someone should start a petition to get this put back in...

Don't waste your time. Petitions are useless most of the time.

 

 

Was there a collector's edition made for new gen too then? Not that I'd buy it, just don't recall seeing any...

No. CE/SE owners get the stuff free that NE owners have to pay for.

No. CE/SE owners get the stuff free that NE owners have to pay for.

For some reason all the SE greetings just ran out on me. The hammer and Bullpup disappeared, the Blimp was gone from my SP contacts, and the shopkeepers were being rude to me again.

I thought that the different greeting was because of the LifeInvader stalking. Which seems to have resetted btw. Or at least I had to go to lifeinvader.com and re-stalk everything.

 

And I checked my CE cars and guns just last week-end and they were free for me.

 

On the PS4 version, that is. Have not noticed about the greeting, but perhaps I'll check later today when I get home since I've now re-stalked all stores..

Allot of CE/SE owners such as myself are having heaps of issues, such as half of the items missing in SP, and nothing available for free online. There are many threads on the R* support forum in both the story and online sections for V. One person there has already mentioned even after showing proof of ownership, R* still tried to deny he owned the CE pack for the reasons his items were missing. Yet when the truth of the matter is their sh*tty coding is what f*cked most peoples transfers up, even outside of the SE/CE owner problems.

You know what...I seem to experience what some people are going thru.

 

I noticed the garage isn't unlocked, I only got the hammer unlocked and stunt plane trials. Everything else isn't free.

 

I have to pay for my hot knife now and kamilion.

 

Just never noticed it online since I bought the weapons on the PS3 version.

It doesn't? You lost the free weapons and cars?Indeed i did. I have to pay for everything in SP & MP. Even tried entering my CE code in the store. It pulls it up, but cant D/L it. Thank you I've been saying this for days on the R* Support forum, and from what it sounded like with the last rep i spoke this is going to be a case by case basis, who knows when it'll be fixed. Funny thing is they can pump out 1GB patch and add to it, but a simple CE/SE pack which is only what 120kb must be back breaking work for them. Exactly let us use our code and be on our merry way. But I tried my code on the PS4, everything appears just aren't able to download it.

No way im contacting R* to get it sorted out. Too many suspicious stats on my account lol. Hopefully they will release a fix in an upcoming patch. Not holding my breath though.
