Theodore93
I can't possibly choose one game. I don't even think I could compile a top five list. Best I could do would be to say my top three series / franchises which would be: GTA series (obviously). Metal Gear series. Half Life series. I love some of the games so much, I just keep coming back to them over and over. Currently replaying Half Life 2 which is definitely one of my all time favourites. Also just got off a HL1 deathmatch server. Was awesome. It's been so long since I played it - feeling the nostalgia big time. Vanto
It would have to be Smash Bros. Brawl. Yeah, SSBB brought to me more fun that any other game ever did. And I hope SSB4 does the same. Edited November 29, 2014 by Vanto
Mr Oraange
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II. Although I absolutely loath almost any and all roleplaying games, since this was one of the first games that I'd ever played, I don't see how I could ever hate on it. I guess it's not really the game that I enjoy that much, even though the story was pretty great and the graphics hold up quite well, but just the fact that it introduced me into the world of video games, even though I rarely have time to touch them nowadays. Guest Billy Russo
Vice City. It reminds me of so many good times, when I think back to the PS2 at it's peak, that's what comes to mind instantly, as well as San Andreas. The atmosphere of Vice City was just spot on, it's the one game I think is near perfection. I have to this day hardly any bad things to say about it, maybe the only gripe I had was the size of the world which always felt so small to me, but it worked. Also, the music was the best in the Series for me, Emotion 98.3 will always be my favourite station in any GTA game. Fantastic mix of songs, any time I hear one, I instantly think of VC and smile. Onett
Gee, I dunno. I'm going to go head and split it into three. Earthbound (for being one of the best games I've ever played, and being a complete aversion of traditional RPGs) Metal Gear Solid (BROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTHER! Seriously, this game kicks ass.) Persona 3 (yet another RPG with some unique spins on it).
Voggs
It's between GTA IV and Resident Evil 4, I had a ton of fun with both games, and both protagonists are my most favorite VG characters. I've shared a lot of my love for GTA IV on the forums already, so I'll go to the next one; RE4 is the game that made me grow a pair for the future horror games, and by that I mean not getting scared anymore, even though the first time I played it I was terrified with Dr. Salvador (or 'chainsaw guy'), that part of the Village scenario was hell on Earth for me, but the more I played it the more I mastered it. Me and a friend were fanatics of this game, we were always drawing stuff related to it, and playing it, of course. RE4 started the action in the series, then going downhill with RE5 (IMO), staying in the middle with RE6 and going back to the roots with Revelations. Can't wait for Revelations 2, man. vengeancehawk
Aah. RE4. I remember hearing that weird little chant the townsfolk and cult followers did over and over. It was so damn disturbing even after hearing it for 20 minutes. And your signature definitely shows how much more action packed the series has become. OysterBarron
I will have to go with mass effect. There's been so many good games over the decades of me gaming that it's a hard choice. No other game as an adult has sucked me in as much as that story line did. I forgave some of the characters slow loading textures and was rewarded with an engaging and interesting storyline that just left me yurning for more. No other game or franchise has come close to that since or before. Th3MaN1

Eurotrash
Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, despite being one of the sh*ttiest PC ports ever and one of the most nerfed ones. It's just that good.

Bobbyleez
Metal Gear series.... Or Elder Scrolls, hard choice... I've spent so much time in Oblivion, it just had this magic that Skyrim seemed to lack, but that's just my opinion.
Coolstream
Obviously Bad Rats: the Rats' Revenge. There is nothing currently available on Steam that comes anywhere close to this game's gameplay. But seriously, favorite game is probably Fallout 3, one of the few games that I got immersed in even though it's so empty.

Majestic81
Hard to choose really. i think Skyrim. i've played that game and created modes for it more than any other game. i usually dont let games suck me in too hard. just play them once or twice and appreciate them in my memory later. but i became addicted to Skyrim, i played it almost everyday. i can memorize Tamriel easily. GTA IV and TLAD i think deserve a mention, i dont play them anymore but back when they came out. i played the sh*t out of them. must have finished each of them more than 20 times. Sir Michael
Outside of Grand Theft Auto, I'd say Fallout 3 and New Vegas with all of their DLC. The only game I've shelled more hours into than those two is GTA Online. ;o
vengeancehawk
I've apparently sunk over 400 hours into GTA Online, but they doesn't seem right. The one game I have with a definite time with is Skyrim with my main save alone over 275 hours.
