Why 50 of everything?!

Spaceship parts, nuclear waste, letters, submarine parts... Allof them you have to collect 50 each! Why not 25? Or 15? Seriously this takes forever and sucks all the fun out of the game...

Probably because when they first planned it, tested it out etc they felt like 50 was the best option. I doubt they thought "Make it 50" and didn't bother to test if people would actually enjoy it. :p

I wonder why they didn't put 69 of everything, it's R*.

It goes against the game itself. You have a game packed with action and incredible stuff...

And then...You gotta collect stuff all around the map...Thrilling

To give you an opportunity to explore the amazing landscape. They spent years making this game why wouldn't they want you to explore every inch?

^^^^ THIS.

They created the game to give individual players an incentive to explore and find new things if there are any. But in the current days people just go on forums and watch YouTube videos that show them where everything is etc so you can imagine how knowing everything and then being told to search the map for stuff is going to get tedious / boring. :p

Yeah! f*ck GTA V and its sh*tty, too many collectibles! f*ck this game! Worst GTA ever!

But seriously guys, lets keep dropping to our knees for GTA SA!

Of course, I'm not serious at all.

Gotta love this forum's double standards.

Agreed it does suck the fun out of the game for sure, found using a helicopter for the space ship parts and letter scraps is easily the fastest but still took at least 5 hours for them all.

50 stunt jumps

50 under the bridges

50 monkey mosaics

50 letter scraps

50 space ship parts

30 sub parts

30 nuclear waste

27 peyote

20 wildlife photography

15 knife flights

Far too many collectables

Who in this thread said that? It's the first time i complain about the game. I ain't bitching because the f*cking trees dont move or whatever stupid sh*t the others complain about. I didnt see a ''f*ck GTA'' or whatever nonsense you wrote, sorry.

Oh and they could give you the oportunity to explore with better stuff than collecting letters etc etc. I'm just saying its boring as hell.

Collectibles are a GTA tradition! It's a bit like san andreas, 50 oysters, 50 horse shoes, 50 photo's, 100 spray tags and 70 stunt jumps. 70!

its so you actually play the game and put more hours into it other than finding 20 parts in less than a hour....i guarentee because of how close minded people they would complain about how easy it was to find the parts....so yeah

How come nobody complained about the collectibles in pretty much every single GTA except V? How is this any different than collecting oysters and horseshoes and why did women in PS2 SA find an oyster collection such a turn on?

Implying that you *have to* collect them?

Because hating GTA V is apparently the cool thing to do around here.

Lets get that picture of the crying baby put back on the site.

I remember many people moaning about the flying rats in GTA IV. Even though I done those for 100% I don't think I'll ever do them again.

For me doing these collectibles in the HD GTAs is so unrewarding. I done the submarine parts in one go and was disappointed I got jack sh*t for doing them aswell as the letter scraps.

I can't be bothered with anything else. It started with the flying rats in GTA IV and has carried over into GTA V unfortunately doing a whole lot for a crappy return.
