most of them don't show up in map editor (MEd v0.32) and I didn't found anything about them investigating .ipl files.

it's easy to do it with main folder, I don't know about modloader.

it's easy to do it with main folder, I don't know about modloader.

I can't figure out which part of map is that? Mansion?

Also this game is a mess, textures that are missing in game are present in map editor and I have no fkng idea why. That means that they are not missing just bugged or something...

this one is in Star Island, but they are all over the map, and only ones in airport are shown in map editor.

Do you have a fix for VCPD Cheetah? It's siren/police light doesn't have corona..

No fix for that as I know. there is a fix, but it didn't worked for me, you can check it out yourself because maybe my other mods are effecting on it: Download (it also has higher texture quality and AI upscaled interior.)

You are very observant for finding all those issues, I'm going to try to fix some of them. 

Also, what is wrong with Starfish Island door?

They all look normal to me. Do you have backfaceculling=1 in SkyGFX?

 

The trickiest models/parts to fix are Mall and PizzaPlace near Gonzales's house. I don't know what is going on when you look through windows from the inside, some stuff is super bright while other looks normal.

Starfish Island door has a thin line above door which should not be there. (Photo) (I can fix it, but don't have TXD filename. Posters in warehouses has same problem which I fixed them: Photo, also in lhglue01 and one of mansion doors, I solved them too.)

 

Solved That Pizza Place Problem. just removed the glass, copied glass from Haiti pizza place and placed it on right location. very bad solution, but works.

 

in VCLF.IPL:
1732, lh_pizzaplaceb, 0, 422.29, 84.2, 16.35, 1, 1, 1, -6.19390935677e-07, -6.19390935677e-07, 0.900886728892, -0.434054261246

in VCLF.IDE:
1732, lh_pizzaplaceb, nbtshops, 1, 199, 132

Then Replace/Add this to Modloader: Download

 

If you don't want to install Full VCLF.IPL/VCLF.IDE (because it may cause some problems if you mixed VC Map Fixes and VCLF): Download

 

(The problem of invisible posters are not related to this, Problem is from their own model.)

Better solution is to remove glass from DFF file and replace it with glass from lh_pizzaplaceb.dff. I don't know too much about editing DFF files.

The model with Texture mapping problem (lhcoastsky1 ) is fixed. It's not perfect alligment but UV mapping is terrible on that model so I did the best I could.

Hey everyone!
I am having a problem installing this mod. I only have Silent Patch and Widescreen fix installed everything else is 100% vanilla.
I've found that the file "gtavc.dat" causes a crash when starting a new game or load game. Deleting the file makes the game playable, but there are many bugs such as looking outside when in interiors a lot of the environment is invisible or the rotating crane at the docks doesn't have a texture.
 

!!! EDIT:
I am so stupid the installation explicitly says I need Open Limit Adjuster. Sorry for the false alarm!!!!!

On original dff.

I've looked into road issue, it can be resolved easily but entire roads will have to be moved a bit. If you could post images on issue list it would be helpful, so I know what to fix.

I mean I can edit it later, UV mapping on some of the models is absolutely horrific. I set disablebackfaceculling to 1 in SkyGFX, it fixes a lot of culling issues.

it fixes a lot of culling issues, but make some other problems.

Can we set disablebackfaceculling per model?

Nope, but we can enable culling per model, this is how I fixed mall issues with LF mod and disabledbackfaceculling.

Can you send a link with all combined map fixes? I mean LF and Map fixes combined without issues?

I need to figure out the way of fixing this properly, not all around the map. It's a mess. Maybe I should do map parts (starfish island then viceport etc). And I have no idea how IPL issues work, no clue how to fix them.

my files in mod loader are mess, all files are around 3GB(Compressed). but LF+MF files are around 500mb(compressed), but thy may have problem if I segregate them from other files. I have no problem to upload 3GB of files. which should I upload?

I don't even know. I just tried to sort both of them on my PC but I don't know who fixed what better, LF or MapFixes. The worst is when they need to overwrite, I don't know which should I overwrite. Even worse is IPL and .col, no clue what to do with them either. Everything is a mess.

Do you know where can I edit coronas on buildings? LF mod broke coronas on Mercedes house, Lance's house (where Hunter) spawns and some other places. I want to fix those but not sure are they model or IPL/IDE issues.

I don't know if it's relevant or not, but there are some lines in IDE files (Most of them are in Generic.ide) with ["coronastar", "shad_exp"] under 2dfx section. here is a Tutorial about them:

Did you have issues when installing LF mod? I installed it and included some other fixes and got unhandled exception error. Also gta_vc.dat is causing game to crash. :/

yes, I have some issues too. unhandled exception, there are some fixes for that I haven't tried them yet: Here

Problem is not from gtavc.dat, it is from VCLF.IPL which include some items that cause problem, gtavc.dat just calls VCLF.IPL to run. if you clean VCLF.IPL from all items game don't break with same gtavc.dat.

Oh, that's the problem, VCLF, I will have to look what's causing this issue. I really don't know how to fix IPL issues, I have no reference as to how it's supposed to look. No original PS2 IPLs..

 

EDIT: Found missing stuff, but it's impossible to add, if you add missing coronas game won't load. IDE's are messed up..
