Vice City - The Leftovers Fix

Install modloader and put it in Vice City Folder, next only put LF mod inside, it should look something like this: 

".../Grand Theft Auto Vice  City/modloader/Leftover Fix/Audio Data Models.

As you can see, I created a folder, named it Leftover Fix and put Audio, Data and Models folders which I downloaded from the links provided on this page. 

Leftover Fix Mod is not compatible with some other mods so It can cause errors. I can confirm that it works with SIlent's Patch, SkyGFX and Widescreen Fix Mod.

Thank you so much! I was stumped because that seemed too simple. Sorry for the dumb question, so i follow the archive's folders and then edit the gta.img files for some files it says to?

You don't have to edit gta3.img, by that I mean adding map files and all that things. If you screw that up you can crash game and you will have to reinstall. Only put animation file into togta3.img, rest will work on it's own if you put it into modloader.

Like I said mod folder looks like this:

modloader/Leftover Fix Mod/

Audio

data

models

No need to add anything, it's just name of the folder to gta3.img.

Thank you so much dude, finally fixed it and everything is running smooth except for the mall (its been crashing when inside ever since I downloaded leftovers properly) but i think i fixed it finally. So glad to be able to play this mod and thanks for getting back to me quickly!

Yes, there are a lot of things which need to be fixed but team who made this mod is currently not working on this, hopefully they will continue work on this mod soon.

Mall does have issues, for me floor doesn't have texture, it's completely white.

Yep, but i'm just grateful they made this mod and you helped me to get it working. I felt super dumb cause I was overthinking it lol. Thanks again so much for the help!

I downloaded the latest Ultimate ASI Loader and the official ModLoader again, it seems the problem has been solved.

Today i did some digging through the files looking for differences and i noticed something i think might have been missed. The water tower at the film studio on Ps2 had a logo on it that said interglobal and is missing on pc and xbox. The txd in question is ci_studio 5 and the image is named rustytank. When i replaced the image with the ps2 one the water tank now correctly has the logo on the side instead of nothing.

 

Also in this txd file is an image named ci_stuff 5. This image is also missing in the xbox and pc txd but is in the ps2 one. Anyone know where that image goes at the film studio on ps2? Is it something that can be restored?
