I tested it with vanilla files and I found it is R* fault (my mod only add 2 lines into mall.ipl and mall.ide and 2 collision files)

Hey there everyone, sorry for the lack of updates on my part and pretty much making it like everyone else is doing all the work. Life kind of got in the way and I got sick as well, but seeing the progress everyone else has made is staggering, Anyways, I will compile the rest of the work that everyone else has provided soon enough but for now I got the original weapon names for everyone to download right here:

 

EDIT: Missed some details, will reupload once it is all fixed.

 

Everything else will be updated accordingly throughout the week.

I like what you've done here, but looking through it I can see a few errors. the text prompts for the hidden package pickups aren't changed, as well as the little assault rifle message mentioning the ruger in guardian angels. here you can download my own attempt to restore weapon names, with all the changes being copy-pasted from the ps2 american.gxt. might be missing some things though, I'd like to hear your thoughts on it :)

It would be nice if someone fix raindroplets, which are also bugged in HW mod in pcsx2

Did someone fix the bugged textures like Vice Point Larger and the jock sport shop or w/e it's called?

Ah it seems Tomasak has some of the fixes in the sig. It'd be good to have comparisions to some of the screens, because I don't want the Ocean Hotel to have these ugly PS2 posters.

Nvm it seems I missed the pack on the first page :D

Thanks. I'm glad the pack on the 1st page mentions what fixes what and if anything is lower res, because I'm not using lower res of anything unless the fix in question is major one.

Not exactly a texture fix, but I'd call it a fix nonetheless. Seems like R* accidentally set the draw distance of the construction site way too low, simple change in the IDE file fixes it.

Not exactly a fix, but I'm not sure why R* didn't do it in the first place. They put the corona draw distance further than the spotlight too, not sure what that was about. But if you want, you can use this IDE file so you can see the spotlight and corona in Downtown from pretty much anywhere.

Fixed a floating corona on ocean drive, it was meant to be a source of the dust that you see on the drive, but it seemed like R* forgot the flag and gave it a radius. You can get the fix here.

 

Bad screenshots, but the corona is no longer there floating and the dust has returned.
