Neo Anderson, redownload Xbox Mod, dimzet sometimes updades it. In lastert version it's fixed. I myself told him about this bug.

He just added IDE DATA\MAPS\svhdb\svhdb.IDE after IDE DATA\MAPS\haitin\haitin.IDE and IPL DATA\MAPS\svhdb\svhdb.IPL after IPL DATA\MAPS\stadint\stadint.IPL (and maybe it would actually fix the problem with broken damaged construction site floating in mid air)

Any clues to make this work with xbox mob by DimZet13?

 

I install VC, game works.

I install XBox mod, game works.

I install trails, ginput, loading screens and widescreens mods, game works.

I add LF files, game crashes on loading when starting a new game.

Because you replace some vitally files from the mod with this ones, so I think the crash is caused by that. Also trails is already included in that Xbox mod, no?. Other thing, most of the crashes is caused by the restored Palm shadows in the mall, so check that. Probably wrong installed.

well, seems like xbox mod is a bit chaotic since it adds many .img extra files for .col, for animation and anothe named back.img with many .dff and .txd files.

 

Also gta.img doesnt have many files cause they are in one of the other .img the mod adds, so its a bit dificult to see where to put each file.

Did anyone ever end up looking into converting the ps2 dispatch audio over to pc? its not really a fix but its a difference I suppose lol. I completely forgot all about it. ended up watching one of vadim m's videos today and it reminded me about it

new stuff I've done so far, will show pics soon:

 

- added carcols support for cabbie, kaufman cab, reefer, zebra, and police chopper, game seems to crash however when I try to add a carcols entry for the last one so I'm not including it

- updated cutscene turbo sabre with final wheels, final textures, and added windows/a windshield to it

- remade the fat running animation so the legs don't wobble to and fro

 

I also began making some custom billboard textures to replace the old bad ones, though I'm not sure if they belong here since they're not really straight "fixes":

(was trying to do a spotlight effect with this one but I don't think it came out very clear)

(on the PC this sign (along with the benches) was mean street taxis co, the actual building uses the same texture for the sign as the benches do, which looks really blurry and low-res)

 

not sure how far I wanna go with it but I wanna redo all the ones that were clearly designed as square posters and look horribly stretched/barely readable

Using IMGTool, how do I replace all the files at once rather than doing it one at a time? Also when trying to replace a file the files don't appear in the IMG Installation folder :(

Use the IMG installation mode, only drag the folders and drop in your VC folder, thats all.

Original Ruger, the weapon names aren't included because the OP I think never finished it.

Why is it fixed, I hear you ask? When you view the file, all of the textures within appear squirrelly and screwed up. BUT even though there is nothing wrong with it as all the textures display properly ingame, it's not really a good idea to leave them like that..
