Thanks. Btw i even tried with vanila VC and it crashed when the cutscene ended (Even skipping it will crash). I will try to do your method.

 

EDIT: I don't have Vice City installed on Program files, i have it on D: drive since C: is full. But i found modloader folder in appdata/local.

I didnt said C: or D: Just go to Appdata > Local > VirtualStore

You will find Rockstar games folder in there

Its crashed again. I deleted my all mods. Just downloaded The Leftover fixes. When i try to reach marina of cortez, game gives crash

Same issue here, dude. Anyone know what causes the game to crash near the marina?

 

The problem was Modloader 0.3.5.

Silent's unofficial 0.3.6 patch and Newest version of modloader 0.3.7 is fixed that problem. But still game crashes when reach there with 2dfx mod. You must delete 2dfx files.

 

THIS MOD SHOULD BE COMPATIBLE WITH 2DFX MOD.

 

Thanks for tuning in, GroveStGTAV. I am currently running my mods with the latest version of Modloader and I don't even have the 2DFX mod included. Regardless, the game still crashes whenever I go near the marina area, or at least where the paintshop and ammunation store are.

 

Could it be a mod that I use which causes the crash? Here's a list:

 

Open limit Adjuster

Ped Speech

Rage Italic

Sharp Trails

Silent Patch

SkyGFX

VC GFX

Vice City Leftovers Fix

ViceMips 1.0

Wardrobe

Widescreen Fix

XBOX Vehicles

CS Characters 10th Anniversary Edition

 

Note: I conducted a little experiment last night: I replaced the modloader files with the ones from January 2018 (which are the same) and deleted the log and save files just in case. Reloaded the whole mod collection and went straight to the marina area - everything was fine, no crash. Returned to the mansion and back to the marina area - still OK. But afterward I tried going to Little Havana where the Cherry Popper Ice Cream factory is, made a U-turn and went back to the marina area and BOOM, the game crashed again. So my thinking is that this has something to do with the map loading process or something. But I'm no expert anyway, so can't be completely positive on this.

 

Any further help would be much appreciated. :) Thanks!

None of the mods you listed seems to be incompatible with VCLF but if I was you, I'll try to re-install the whole game again, then install everything on it again as 1.0 EXE, modloader, all of the mods etc BUT now test one by one to find out which one is crashing. I'm suspecting of VC GFX colliding with SkyGfx but that has nothing to do with VCLF since both are just plugins but who knows. Also what is Rage Italic? Some fonts mod?

 

 

Right, so after re-installing the whole game I ran a few tests and I can conclude that the prob definitely comes from the VCLF mod as the game runs perfectly normal with all the rest listed mods when VCLF is not included. I can also conclude on the exact spot where the game crashes - it's the no-name-hotel right behind the Marina Sands Hotel with red carpet at the entrance, golden HOTEL letters and a pool place beside it.

 

Could it be that this hotel's files are corrupted in any way?

 

If I knew the names of the files themselves I would have either reported them by now or simply removed them from the gta3.img folder. :(

I noticed that after installing the 'PS2 Feels', Kaufman Cabs turn white when they get damaged: https://i.imgur.com/9iLjreX.jpg

I opened the kaufman.txd and compared it with the original one and noticed two textures black64 and white128, which should be named black64a and white128a instead.

So after renaming them saving and trying again it works completely fine: https://i.imgur.com/d42Czln.jpg

How can I solve this problem? I have all the TXD / DFF installed but the texture is still white, I put back all the textures but it remains the same.

Disable Backface Culling = 1 (Yes)

Therefore, 1 disables backface culling.

I disabled it and it fixed all the one sided objects. i had a bug were the doors from the hotel (Ocean beach) was missing at one side.

You can't. VBDec doesn't touch anything related to the SFX archive. Someone has to convert it.

This mod has been improving with each new update, the port for pc of most games of the franchise gta always has some things excluded or bugged compared to versions of console.

The links on the OP are kind of confusing, does the Core Pack feature all the fixes from the links below it? Is the Core Pack even up to date with all the fixes?

 

EDIT: According to someone on Discord, @Kalvin is the reason this mod hasn't been updated in a good while. Jeez, nothing surprising there.

Is this mod broken or something? A lot of blank textures after installing this mod. Also, something seems to be wrong with vclf ide on the maps folder. 

 

Plus, some of the TXDs in this mod aren't even properly vieweable on Txd Workshop.

 

Edit: Finally got the blank textures problem solved. It appears that this mod will onlybwork properly with Modloader. But there appears to be a problem with vclf.IPL on the data folder. 

 

Game crashes when it tries to interact with it at the loading screen.

How do i know if the mod (corepack, improvements) is running properly? According to the details in the first post, the pool should show reflections, this doesnt show. On the golf course, the hole numbers arent there either.

 

Till example ' Mall roof is now semi-transparent like on PS2 ', im not seeing a semi-transparent mall roof. Im guessing the mod isnt running?

 

Edit: I have to remove those two lines in gta_vc.dat

IPL DATA\MAPS\vclf\vclf.IPL
IDE DATA\MAPS\vclfb\vclfb.IPL

 

to get the game starting, could it be thats why i dont see the changes i should see? Also tried changing IDE to IPL on the last line.
