Meet/Drags

Pretty much as the title states.

Hey thanks for checking out my thread. Most of my meets will be pop-up with a couple hours notice and/or a couple days notice. I'm going to attempt to host these meets. Some of you may have seen me around other meets or helping out fuzionz' meets. I'm always open to others ideas, so during a meet if you have one or some..let me know! To the "trollers", I know who most of you are. A ban list is in full effect, I'll never clear or post it either.

What I have planned...

Would be for everybody to meet up, preferably @ a location close to a LS Customs, . Then we'll head up to Paleto, on the way we'll be doing some highway pulls/roll racing. From there we will all decide on a spot (whether it be @ the airport or on the highway) to do a series of 1v1 drags, something like a tournament. Once we have a winner we could move onto other activities (some examples of what I mean are down in the posts) once we all agree on one, well go from there. If you could take some pictures to upload to the thread that would be great as well.

• No obtaining wanted levels
• No killing other players in the meet
• Ask me before you invite others who are not on the list
• No kids, by that I mean maturity is a must
• All races will be flagged (none of that 123 go non-sense)
• You may bring any class of car/bike

Tonight meet was great, not very many people, it peaked at about 7 or 8, but they were great! Made a lot of new friends! Who enjoy car meets as much as I do! We did almost everything in the book! From drags to offroading, and drifting and demo derbys! Although the host only had a couple things planned, the lobby stayed together way after the "planned" meet was over. But the meets that are impromptu and made up as we go are always tons of fun! Everyone had great ideas and it all happened! I even was givin a new nick name! (Check pics in spoiler) Thanks for a great time guys!

 

To the host: As a host who has been here a while, I love seeing players who are inspired to start hosting there own meets! But most don't realize what a hassle it really is. Which you don't realize till you host. I think Vapizt did great for his first meet! Just like everyone, there's things to improve on. (Being new means you have more) Don't think of this as harsh criticism, only trying to help, but one of the main things is keeping order in your meets. Your the host and you set the rules. If others don't like it they can leave. Feel free to PM if you have questions or want some pointers if you plan on hosting regularly! I'm always glad to help!

Welllll I don't know what to say other than..Thank you for everyone coming out and putting in ideas, thanks a lot for taking pics also I appreciate the feedback buzz... I'm down for any pointers you can pass on to me on improving future meets. I'll keep everybody posted for the next meet. Although when drag racing be sure to go right to the end, just incase the other person is pullin on you.

Nice pics texas...those fights were pretty intense, I remember having a fight with somebody and it kept going till the doors fell off the bel-air

 

I was thinking about starting another meet on Friday...not too sure what time but more then likely like last time which was @ 8pm, eastern. I can make it maybe an hour earlier but I can also make it later as it is the end of the week & most people don't have to work.

I'll post a date on my first post & we can go from there.

Alright you've been added but, I thought you were having a meet of your own @ the exact same time as I had mine planned.. If you want, we could merge our lobbies into 1?

 

 

We got about 6 hours left & a half a lobby filled up so far. I'm gonna try and get the invites out 15 minutes before the start of the meet.

What I was thinking if the lobbies combined; you would stay on "Street's" list, who ever has the least amount of people would join into the lobby with the most. From there the leader of the lobby with the least would invite their meet's players. Is that cool with you "Street"?
