Single player neglect anyone?

Just completed SP and am looking to play some MP again but Servers are so broken for PS4 I can do nothing but sit in a session by myself...

 

Rail Gun in SP is awesome. Did all the Assassination Missions with it after completing the Big Score...Also accidentally found the Stock Market Glitch with Life Invader for myself so turned 440 million into 1.2 billion for Michael and Franklin and somehow 2.17 billion for Trevor. Should be set for any SP DLC and can mod cars and what not as I please if I want a break from Online.

When I can't connect to Online I play in SP. Though I find myself play SP more these days.

 

I dunno why, is it because I don't have any target anymore in MP? I mean, I've gotten everything I need in MP; 4 mission-only fast bikes, each for a certain area, 3 great off-road vehicles with the same concept, a house in Sandy Shores and a garage in La Mesa. The only thing that is missing on the list is a house in Paleto Bay but I can't afford it due to not being able to own more than 2 properties. I also have all the Pegasus I want, from a FR cruising Cuban 800 to a mission speedrunner Vestra and a Buzzard.

 

I really have no more goal for MP, which is what kept me playing. SP on the other hand, I can make my fun all day long.

Since GTA 3 ive dreamed of a game like gta online.

 

Imho none of the single player narrative appeals to me... I cannot 'get into' the SP characters and like others have said, no Pegasus or merryweather or mechanic, terrible garages all means I am far more interested in the online sandbox.

 

All the random MP player interactions > SP ped/traffic density and activities

I find the dynamic of him being a whiny, over emotional bitch over sh*t that happened 10 years ago very tedious. He acts like a child, the whole "rawr I should kill you Michael" in every cutscene did not bring dramatic tension, it just became annoying.

 

Online obviously has a lot more replayability compared to SP.

Singleplayer has better spawning for AI and Traffic, not to mention the ability to go on a rampage with all 3 characters (Unless you were a dumb ass at the end).

Plus AI isn't as much of an aimbot as is in MP.

I'm slowly running through SP on both Xbox One and Ps4. Which gets a bit insane as I'll do one or two levels here, and repeat them on the other console. The game doesn't really unlock til after Trevor goes to Los Santos, so I'm aiming to get both up to there. I already beat it on 360 and enjoyed it very much. On next gen, HOWEVER, I'm playing it like how I did GTA IV: calling cabs and getting the cab drivers to get me from point to point and none of the side quests.

Playing through the single player again, kind of makes me figure out how I was able to beat the game three times on previous gen.

 

I'm finding it more difficult to complete it. I was hoping there was more missions that weren't added to previous gen consoles, but so far, nope.

 

As for Trevor, I ain't the smartyest person in the farm, but I don't enjoy that man too much. He's a whiner, reminds me of half of these people on the forums.

or is it just you who thinks that the trevor haters are smarter than others?

Of course, it's logical that if you crash your tire into an edge at 200mph that your wheel will be busted, but it's still annoying

Do characters always lose vehicles I get the garage storage but there's mo insurance no recalling a missing vehicle.

Idk, Online just feels more Personal and Progressive to me, Advancing your character, plus the interaction with other human beings. Totally Trumps the single player experience to me

 

But I'm never going online once the PC version drops.

I finished the main story and few side missions (65%) but now that I discovered the addiction that is GTAO I have no reason to return. Story mode feels lonely and without purpose, earning money and buying stuff have no real meaning. In GTAO you actually progress and improve yourself, you do jobs to earn your own money, money that is valuable and precious.

Singleplayer is lacking a lot of the features that online has, plus we already played through it. I play a mission here or there slowly progressing through the game, with that said the characters and dialogue are still amazing.

Hehe you got it all wrong. I say intellectual people because most members who are actually smart find themselves hating Trevor for a couple of reasonable reasons but they have to tell everyone they killed Trevor or disliked him for any reason. Also, i'm talking about Xerukal, in my opinion he is the smartest and most collected member of this forum.
