When will the matchmaking system be fixed?

I don't play that many games but the ones I do play all have some system in place so I can see all the available lobbies and be able to choose which one I want to join. How come no such thing exist in gta online? If they're not gonna let me see all the available lobbies at least let me filter out all the sh*t that I don't want.

 

Now whenever I want to race, I pull out the phone, choose join race, wait 2 minutes, get put into jumps r us, with catch up and slipstream on. I then have to quit the lobby, pull out phone, wait another 2 minutes, gets put into lobby with 1 other person. Have to quit again. U get the picture. Do this about 10 times then finally give up n have to settle for a race with catch up n slipstream on but at least it's on a decent track.

 

I don't play deathmatch but have read enough posts on the subject to know it's the exact same thing there.

 

Anyway, why do u think this hasn't been fixed after a year? When do u think it will be? And how exactly would u like rockstar to fix it?

well prob not any time soon, they have had a week and still cant get it right , eventhough they claim its been fixed its on. Maybe you can get in a lobby, but thats about all your gonna be doing , For get starting a death match or race. Cause still 9 times out of 10 it wont work. starting to get annoying, wish the would just fix it or dont say they have!

Unfortunately it has always been like this. Inb4 someone says "host your own job" but then offcourse no one joins, which makes that argument invalid.

 

I would like to put my search options like this:

 

Races:

- Only standard

- Custom vehicles on

- User created off

- Catchup/slipstream open (I'll adapt to the situation)

 

Deathmatches:

- All options open except for user created jobs

Do u think this is because we as players haven't been making enough noises about such a big part of any multiplayer game but are honestly non-existent in gta? Or do u think rockstar has simply been busy with dlc n next gen? What has baffled me is that there's been no acknowledgement from them about this problem one year on. I know nothing about making games but I imagine it can't be too difficult a problem to fix surely?
