Kinda...maybe the discussion about dff/txd/ide/ipl/whatever problems can continue in another thread. I'd like to keep this one about SkyGfx.

And how is it related to Skygfx and PS2 graphics?

 

Don't you know, this thread is not about skygfx anymore, its about posting IPL files and bullsh*t

 

u w0t m8 In last 10 pages there was one IPL file posted. And that was for PS2 gfx.

Think about it that way - For the end user be able to see the full effects of the new PS2 pipelines skygx feature, he'll mandatorily need custom dff's, txd's and even ipl's. It was the same situation previously seen in the silentpatch x maverick thing.

 

So I think it's a valid discussion, and technically on-topic.

Appreciate your willing to help, but that would be off topic. That project is about item placement, not mandatory for third-party plugins, not textures or models, though your ipl would be useful. I'll look into that later.

You using PS2 to PC map or not? If no, they are needed. Download files from #2348 from dropbox link use only txd from mega link everything else.

I'm using PS2 map by El Dorado, but I think you mean PS2 to PC map by The Hero, so I will download files from #2348, thank you.

SilverRST: I think you has some problem with some colliding mod, I will check my game to be sure.

Which f*cking mod can cause to f*ck the bridge up? I haven't installed anything regarding the map and not even installed PS2 Map fixes.

I don't mod gta3.img no more thanks to modloader.

F*ck those authors making their mods useless as a dildo for a ho to earn money.

I found the issue. The problem is by those lazy people from the snowmod with their Snow San Andreas "HQ" 2011.

That mod has the trees placements I like but they unfortunately dare to release such broken piece of crap and never even bother to fix them.

If there was a proper, modern and new map editor, I could have fixed it in less than a minute.

But MEd from 2005??? Nah, I ain't touching that sh*t.

@The Hero, since Silent has released his new version of SilentPatchSA with randomizer(?) ped pathx fixes, would it happen to remove the ped paths from SkyGFX?

I have tested it and when I ran SA without skygfx and kill one ped, the ambulance reacts immediately.

And when I put skygfx back, ambulance no longer reacts.

The ambulances always react after I've killed 3 or 4 peds with or without SkyGfx, I don't think your problem comes from that. Is there even one ? It's the same on PS2.

After it depends where you kill peds, for example if you kill peds at Ganton near CJ's house they'll react rapidly because there's only one road to come from but if you kill peds at an intersection with 4 ways possible, they'll take the worst one and bump into everything before coming. Already saw that many times...stupid ambulances...

Well, I tested the ambulance right after loading a savehouse and getting CJ's house out.

The first test was without skygfx and I killed one. The ambulance really spawned and immediately rescue the victim.

The second test was with skygfx and I repeated it the exact same thing as above, killed one ped, the ambulance didn't spawned, they simply don't react at all.

And then killed 5 peds, still no ambulance. I molested more people, the ambulance just won't come.

 

Either skygfx or SilentPatch has to get the ped paths removed and since skygfx does the graphics, let skygfx has it removed?

You have a point. But it's still strange there's still no ambulance after you've killed 5 peds, something else must conflict, imagine after ped paths is removed the problem persist.

Did you try a clean install with only silentpatch and skygfx ?If it happens too, maybe it's like the golden parts only some people had.

Yes, I did a clean install with SilentPatch and skygfx only. The Urban services simpy don't like to rescue my molested victims when skygfx is installed lol

Once skygfx is removed, they even would love to donate their kidneys and hearts to my victims XD

You're using compact or hoodlum exe? Some memory addresses are different.

It depends on the area the ped was killed, for example, in the starting area near the tracks no matter how many people you kill the ambulance won't show up:

However near the hospital if you do the same thing:

Also ambulances and stuff get scared of gunshots and run off pretty easily.

 

I'm not sure if SkyGfx and/or SilentPatch affects the way this system works thought.

Is obvious the ped paths and/or already fixed randomizers doesn't have nothing related to the ambulance/fireman's reaction.
