Yeah, use the current version. I put a check back in that I disabled because it seemed coincidental to me.

 

EDIT: updated the rwconv.zip again, minor change in txdconv.

yes, the game crash i converted the ps2 parachute.dff (which is a skinned dff) then when i enter the "Parachute into the target" test (in the pilot school), it just crash

aztechas_5's fixed vehicles fixed the bug, it is highly recommended to use aztechas_5's fixes for this mod.

I did a new version of the cscopcarla92

dff,now instead of converting it from the ps2,i used the ingame model,it's still not uploaded,though.

 

@snoops26 i fixed the first pair of glasses but i need to be sure that kam's scripts exported all the three clumps

Maybe we should make a new thread about this. I want to keep this about postfx and ps2refl. I'll make one later today where we can discuss my conversion programs, it's bugs, and PS2 DFFs and TXDs in general.

Does Kams can export multiple clumps? I can only export one...

i'm not sure about that and since neither zmodeler and seggaeman's plugin can export bones,i think you can do it only with kam's scripts

EDIT: With Az's vehicles ofc.

EDIT2: A few boats and trailers seem to not have reflections(uses pc version default specular).

New version: the material's surface properties are now handled correctly. This should match the PS2 lighting exactly now (darker license plates, darker cars in general, bright lights by default).

Improved in which way? Like what you did for VCSPC?

No, improved by unlocking amazing stencil shadows!

 

Note - does not work for all vehicles and it's quite buggy.

I have never seen a completely white car in the PS2 game but tbh, I couldn't care less:

For some reason the glass of the headlights lost its alpha with the latest ps2refl.

The model itself remains untouched.

Same problem with a few of Az's vehicles but in his case it's only the windshields, I wonder why this happens, it was fine before.

Thanks a lot. It works.

 

But damn, I just can't believe how black plastic has now the right reflections and no more the ugly plain black specular highlight.

Just only notice the black parts where it's supposed to have reflections:
