Yes, but why?

 

Because my performance with that grass is too low :C

 

Do you have backfaceCull=1? That is biggest performance impact if I'm not wrong.

Any chance you could look into the lagginess issue? It sucks to play at 60+ fps and it feels like 15 fps.

Have you played with the settings? Try fiddling with color filter, radiosity and see if it makes a difference (e.g. playing without downsampled VCS trails kills performance).

1.8b seems to have broken a couple of things, disabling horizon clouds wasn't disabling them, and using ps2 seabed.ipl would disable the ps2 postfx and default it to PC, so I switched back to 1.8a and all is working again. Also hotkeys sometimes stopped working. F10 works fine but F11 disables it completely until game restart.

 

Also going back to 1.8a gives me this shadow bug :(

EDIT: I fixed the seabed.ipl issue, I redownloaded it from the PS2 features thread instead of the original source link and now it works.. Weird. Hot keys still don't work properly, if at all for some reason :(

Well, 1.8a had that shadow bug, even if I still don't know how to trigger it. I had a hotkey problem as well some time ago but now it's working again o_O. If the problem persists, contact me on irc, gtalk, icq or skype and we'll debug it.

It's not the FPS itself that's the issue. I constantly get 60+ fps, and I checked this, but the game's controls feel laggy. Looking around etc, moving.

Simple , just make sure you have silent's asi loader installed , and then drag and drop the contents of the SkyGfx .zip file you just downloaded to SA directory.

Will it work if I have CLEO Installed. Should I replace the Silent's dll file with the CLEO dll files.

CLEO uses Silent's ASI Lader by default anyway. You can even check their hashsums.

Is there a way to use ps2 seabed without reducing the draw distance or the seabed is just for the draw distance?

Seabed is just for draw distance. The sun's size depends on the draw distance so if you want to large PS2 sun you have to decrease draw distance.

Hey I have a small proplem with refps2.asi. I have Enb Series by Vorontsov and when I implement your asi and turn on PS2 ref channel, nothing happen, but when click to times, apear only PC ref. Where the env ref than? :O

ENBSeries overrides most of SkyGfx settings, I've tried both before. Not a great combo.

Since you do have blur, I assume you did look into skygfx.ini file, because it's not enabled by default, yet you didn't bother looking several lines lower, where "trailsIntensity" line is. Use it. Sorry for aggressive tone, I had a hard day.

If someone finds me CPointLights::RenderFogEffect() in the SA PS2 elf, I could try and figure it out. I also noticed that the PS2 elfs are seriously f*cked, the section information doesn't make much sense. Of course I could try implementing the VC code first, but I'm not sure this is correct...rewriting the code will be painful in any case.

At least for me the mod still crashing with the 'hotkeys' (F12 Specuially). But i desactivate, besides this problem. The mod it's awesome with that reflect in all cars :cookie::cookie::cookie::cookie::cookie: Beatifull! :lol:

Well, if the file size, name and modification date are identical it's gonna be the same. As Rockstar mass-produced this game.
