Because...because... I do! :(

Come one folks at home. Help me out here!

Try changing these lines in the .ini file:

ps2ModulateWorld=0

worldPipe=-1

If that doesn't work then I have no idea.

Started work on VCS reflections :D Maybe they'll be accurate some day...

vcs_refl.png

Someday starts tomorrow, your reflections are the same as in beta SA look:

I think none of us have 4K Monitor to see that...

I want only the reflections in cars, some way to do this?

Well obviously you can. Just set all the stuff in the INI to PC version except the reflections. The INI details every option.

Working on bringing back the fog:

I could probably fix it easily if I knew what the code *should* be doing :/

Oh damn, I thought I could get away with the new code....urgh. Will think of a way.

EDIT: I can't even reproduce? What sort of shadows are you using there?

Happens with Very High Visual FX Quality setting. Btw, HQ shadows remain during the cutscene even when disableHQShadows=1

Can't reproduce. At very high I get the normal stencil shadows. Your car shadows look more like ped shadows for some reason.

No, I know why this is happening. But the fact *that* it is happening confuses me. This is a ped shadow drawn for a car. Do you have any mods installed that do this? When I enable HQ shadows car shadows are drawn differently (and there can be no bugs that way).

I will have to fix it anyway, but this is weird...

If SAMP don't care about mods, why we take care about SAMP?

Again, sorry.

Worldpipe=-1 ?

IDK, I play samp and I never see that bug. Play with the settings.

Hello people !

There is one infamous problem that happens to some users (including me :) ). Someone can notice that SA may have pale washed colors that do not show full SkyFX's awesomeness.

I discovered that SA does not use calibrated monitor's profile. Instead it uses default profile with poor colors.

Finally I found one of possible solutions:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/colorclutch/files/v0.3/cclutch_v0.3.zip/download

It uses injectors to force the game (almost any DX6-11 game) to use calibrated monitor's profile.

All you have to do is create batch file that contains pathes to the game and injectors, and run the game via that batch (more details in the README).

This problem also influenced VC for me. But this cure helped there.

For months I tried to recreate actual SkyFX's colors with SweetFX. They were nice, but far from PS2 perfection. Now colors are perfect :)

Dude thank you so much! :D

I've been looking for ways to mantain the monitor calibration in games ever since I got my new IPS monitor, but all my attempts failed until now, seriously thank you so much for sharing this!

Nice one indeed. I've been trying to get GTA to obey f.lux settings and found out making SA ignore Brightness option fixed it.

To Fog: effect like smoke_II or something banding with heathaze which cfg is in effect pc.fxp Intense it depends on how many light gave environment than how much visible. My solution, look at VC neon hotels near Ocean View Beach

Fog wheater always change force of other light, like lamp post or that on cars, Must be some coronas upthere :)

Any chance you could look into the lagginess issue? It sucks to play at 60+ fps and it feels like 15 fps.
