I discovered Env and Mobile looks exactly the same in the last version released today (12/31/2019) there are no any different between them now,

It would be possible, via skygfx to enable/disable VCS style muzzle flashes and fire effects? or that its a mere particle.txd difference?

Pardon me gentleman, may i ask, did you guys know to to fix AA bug in vice city? (I mean, yellow line in left and top screen) it's very annoying, and even more noticeble with trails turn on.

@The Hero: Is it possible to make the heat haze effect appear even if the Trails option is turned off in VC? I think R* wasted a big opportunity to make the game look nice by limiting the heat haze to the Trails option.

Widescreen fix has option to draw one pixel black line over as workaround.

Hey, this mod does not work without skygfx.asi, why you deleted it? skygfx.dll can not be enject to game.

 

upd: Okey, i will fix it with skygfx.dll rename to skygfx.asi

Why, due to rwd3d9.dll, do lags appear in GTA Vice City? I deleted this file - friezes disappear. The computer is powerful - but because of this problem it seems as if the computer is 2005. How to fix this problem? Tested on a clear license 1.0

Hard to say. without rwd3d9.dll a few parts of skygfx will be disabled but i wouldn't expect them to be impacting performance so much.

Vice City freezes for fractions of a second - but FPS does not fall

Are you sure you're not running huge drawdistance or some big model mods on a slow HDD? Cause that will add microstutters as well when stuff is loading in (for 3D era gta that's almost constantly).

Clear Version. Skygfx + VC 1.0 US. I tested. They happen but rarely

It's not a skygfx issue. Some trees have broken collisions/models (which one?) and when shooting them the emit blood particles instead of wood particles.

I understand that this is not a skygfx issue. My friend tells me that these trees use blood particles painted in brown, so that is why such thing is happening. That is why am I asking if there is a way to disable blood drops for trees in skygfx. Correct me if I'm wrong.

The problem is in surfinfo.dat. The "Bleeding Trees Fix" from Overdose effects will make trees produce sparks instead of the brown blood:
