SkyGfx: PS2, Xbox and Mobile graphics for PC

Hey guys, i have a problem, when i use this SkyGFX, the hours between 22 and 5 i have a black screen, i have the SAMP GraphicRestore but still happening, btw i have an ENB and Timecyc

as you can see, there is a black screen, but in the top left you can see some of the map

Try it without ENB first. Maybe some features are conflicting.

ENB & skygfx definitely conflict with each other. I once tried it with only enb water, even that however caused major issues. ENB is just not worth it for 3D era gta's compared to skygfx.

It works, thanks to both but, isn't possible to use an enb and skygfx?

If you don't care about discoloured water and the occasional object (they turned bright red on my end) and of course the major performance penalty even on high end hardware.

@ThirteenAG can you take a look into neowaterdrops in VC? Isn't spraying droplets on screen when driving the Marquis as SA does. And it was working fine back in November 2018 when you was fixing the droplets stuff. I think it is something with distance, SA has prt_boatsplash particle value in 40.0 while III/VC has PARTICLE_BOAT_SPLASH value in 30.0. So, I don't know if you forgot it or just overlooked by mistake, also I don't know if this is the right particle assigned to draw neo water droplets on screen when driving a boat but if it is, can you increase it to 40.0 for both games? The same as SA please.

Xbox version has a few flaws and isn't a surprise if that happens there too. Anyway, it looks suspicious. So, do you have Project 2DFX installed or something that modifies light coronas somewhere?

I did the issue report already. Since I was the one testing the builds when you was fixing the droplets issues back then, and everything was working fine in those builds.

Yes exactly. I have Project 2DFX. Is this fixable for config files of Project 2DFX? Using default config. Let me share more screenshots:

Looks weird indeed, like a lamppost light. Try playing with the settings of it.

Maybe Project2DFX is incompatible with the Xbox HD mod or I don't know which Xbox mod are you using.

I know here is not the proper place, but since there is a high concentration of "rendering masters" 😁...I go ...

...why can't I get distant peds transparency ? (with or without SkyGfx)

Changing alpha of all materials in the clump works good for near peds ( < 100mts or so)...but has no effect for distant ones ( > 180mts).

 

EDIT : Solved...apparently my mistake.

I should have specified. My crashes were with a modded build. I did not test an unmodded build. I tested 4.0a on two modded builds. One heavily modded build (100+ mods but very stable) and one with only ~9 popular optimized stable mods (Silent Patch, Project 2DFX, Widescreen Fix, Widescreen HOR+, Rosa Project, etc.). I attempted process of elimination on the lighter build but I didn't finish. I'll definitely do more testing now but I need more clarification on the debug build. I've been trying all morning to figure it out before posting but I do not understand. I tried to load with DLL Loader but I cannot get DLL Loader to load dlls. Tried 32 bit and 64 bit versions. Does the debug version...


Would like to update that these crashes were indeed my fault. Don't know what the problem was, but I reinstalled my sa build and no longer get crashes with 4.0a, no matter what settings I use.

colorFilter=PS2

blurLeft=   8
blurTop=    8
blurRight=  8
blurBottom= 8

 

increase last four settings to add more blur.

Glad I could help man. Not to go off topic or over post but real quick if you want to fix your FoV and HUD download this mod. You see how your radar is oval shaped and not round? That mod will fix that. It will make your game look a lot better. Download file from link I gave you - put the two folders it comes with in modloader.
