Not sure if someone reported this already, but the mobile reflections aren't working on SA:MP, it crashes when there's a vehicle near you. On singleplayer they're working fine for me, they look amazing btw.

Are you kidding us, right?... How many FPS does your game run?...

No I am not joking . I never use any graphic mods in my game so i am afraid graphic mod could cause lag in game since my laptop only has internal graphic card .

Of course the mod will run, you have 8gb of RAM, a 2.4ghz processor and IntelHD 4000 video card, with low graphics and much Mipmapping the FPS should be left over, clear as long as you do not have programs that can consume a lot of RAM in your PC

When I'm playing single-player mode - the sun is fine. But when I'm playing SAMP - the sun doesn't even exist. Is anybody have this bug too? (Sorry for my bad english).

But SkyGfx doesn't have to do anything with the sun, that's SilentPatch. Also, your problem seems to be SAMP.

SAMP doesn't have a good mod support, or doesn't even have any!

SkyGFX does do something with the sun now. Like SilentPatch it disables the forced z-test on coronas that they introduced with the PC version.

Also, Snowshoe helped me find a crash in some vehicle pipelines, 4.0a has it fixed.

Wow, really? I didn't know. So, the sun now includes the same fix as SilentPatch?

Should be the same patch, yes:

// disable forced ztest on coronas. PS2 doesn't do it
		Nop(0x6FB17C, 3);

That seems like a model issue rather than skygfx bug or something.

Fixed reflections ehh !,  I do not know about you, but at least I still see the Leeds reflections as before, could someone explain to me what was changed regarding these reflections in the last update?
Merry Christmas too! :)

Not related to skygfx. SA-MP disables some singleplayer stuff like grass, motion blur and sun corona. You can reverse Kalcor's patches with CLEO or ASI (whatever you prefer) to bring these features back.

If you restore grass, you will want my version of procobj.dat which removes solid objects like rocks to avoid desync with other players. Or, you can make procobj.dat blank to remove bushes and rocks entirely (keep grass only).

To restore grass:

0A8C: write_memory 0x53C159 size 1 value 0xE8 virtual_protect 0
0A8C: write_memory 0x53C15A size 1 value 0x42 virtual_protect 0
0A8C: write_memory 0x53C15B size 1 value 0x0E virtual_protect 0
0A8C: write_memory 0x53C15C size 1 value 0x0A virtual_protect 0
0A8C: write_memory 0x53C15D size 1 value 0x00 virtual_protect 0

To restore sun:

while true
    wait 0
    0AA5: call_function 0x6FC5A0 num_params 0 pop 0 // FUNC_DoSunAndMoon
end

To restore motion blur:

0A8C: write_memory 0x704E8A size 1 value 0xE8 virtual_protect 1
0A8C: write_memory 0x704E8B size 1 value 0x11 virtual_protect 1
0A8C: write_memory 0x704E8C size 1 value 0xE2 virtual_protect 1
0A8C: write_memory 0x704E8D size 1 value 0xFF virtual_protect 1
0A8C: write_memory 0x704E8E size 1 value 0xFF virtual_protect 1

-Fixed neo reflections, that before was only for gta3 and vc (in Xbox released), now are fixed for SA too. In 3.7 wasn't so fine, especially specular maps. 4.0a rocks, just try it, Leeds is just the old way to make reflections on cars, Neo is real time.

@Snowshoe

Oh, I don't play samp so much, but It's so uncomfortable to use some "samp-fixer" exe to re-enable those features like blur and grass

Thank you for giving this info, so it can be done permanently with simple cleo scripts

oh, Neo arranged reflections, because in the change list said that they had fixed leeds reflections, I will try Neo reflections, although maybe not for a long time, I personally take some FPS

I uploaded rain droplets for Mafia and NFS Carbon here: https://github.com/ThirteenAG/XboxRainDroplets#readme

(if anyone is interested)

Don't expect anything crazy like in skygfx, it's just a basic universal implementation, so there's not a lot of game specific hooks and tweaks.

In Mafia I implemented rain droplets during the mission "A Trip to the Country" and there's a splash when you hit a fire hydrant. It was hard to find something to check when droplets shouldn't appear, but I managed to do that for most of the buildings and tunnels. There's still places where droplets appear even though camera has a roof above it, but I can't really do anything about it.

Check the videos on github to get the idea how it looks in action.

In Carbon I basically replaced native droplets, so when these aren't rendered you won't see xbox droplets fade away, they just instantly disappear. That happens when you drive into the tunnel etc.

Also, happy holidays y'all!

Hey The Hero, in new SkyGFX found the following error:

Groove tags rendering

Lack of Detail textures in some models

The tag rendering is new in this version. It should match the PS2 look when using the PS2 pipeline. Detail textures are handled by texdb.txt.

Referring to that, graffiti happens because ... well you know "Alpha", as for the textures, because it happens because some textures are combined, there are textures of grass with rock parts and road textures with grass edges, so the game should identify in which parts of each texture should apply a different superposition of textures, such as: in a texture with parts of rock and grass, the game, or rather Skygfx should identify in That part of the texture must apply the overlay of rocks and that other part should apply the overlay of grass textures. But of course, we are talking about a single texture, not 2 textures placed one over another, I do not rule out that it is impossible, but it would take a lot of work to do it.

About rendering textures I understand, but what about texdb complement: in texdb.txt uses all mobile settings but at the same time this fence (all over the map) has no detail texture (for comparison, attached a screenshot of the neighboring fence, which already has it.

Ahh thanks for catching that. The thing is that this texture is defined twice:

"CJ_W_wood" width=128 height=128 png=6f2e5645 img=af15b52c hasdetail=11

"CJ_W_wood" width=128 height=128 png=6f2e5645 img=af15b52c hasdetail=14

The second entry (in gta_int.txt on mobile) overrides the first (in gta3.txt), but the first is the one we want to use.

An easy fix would be to delete the first entry, but maybe the file should be read or generated differently.
