@The Hero I found a bug with the new mobile filter in the latest WIP build of skygfx III/VC.When you aim with the sniper, the filter seems to disable and instead show the default trails effect.

any idea why this happens?

My game sometimes crashes randomly oddly enough, and when i checked modloader.log a 0x0FA7323C error happened in skygfx.Anyone know why this crash happens?

Seems like it has something to do with the mobile colorfilter, had it too in the latest (test) version, simply using any other colorfilter (PS2 in my case) causes it to function normal.

could someone tell me what the "Xbox" option is for in the vehiclepipes section in the "skygfx.ini" file
I do not notice any relevant changes when using Xbox reflections in GTA SA, the only thing I notice is that the cars are darker

is that really the function that the Xbox reflections have in Skygfx, making the cars darker
Well, I understand that the GTA SA version of Xbox is ported directly from PC, so I think there is not much difference between both versions

The goal of SkyGfx is to faithfully recreate effects from various ports of 3D era games, XBOX vehicles looks darker in SA, so that was done for this mod, even if it could be wrong.

They also apply bright reflections on the wheel rims.

También aplican reflejos brillantes en las llantas de las ruedas.

I guess that's one of the few differences the Xbox version has compared to the PC version.
someone knows some other feature that has the Xbox version and does not have on PC.

I've been trying to get this loaded in GTA LC mod for the neo reflections but I keep getting the dreaded "SkyGFX cannot be loaded by the default Mss32 ASI loader, Use another ASI loader." error. It works with my VC installation. Any way to get around this and working within GTALC?

Hi, when I launch GTA3 an error message appears: "SkyGFX cannot be loaded by the default Mss32 ASI loader. Use another ASI loader." , I tried with Simple DLL loader and Ultimate ASI loader x86 and x64 versions but can't make it run, thanks.

Old Man With No Name

Make sure you added Skygfx.asi and Skygfx.ini to "scripts" folder

When you put these files to main GTAIII main folder. You can get this error

CLEO works only if loaded from root dir. It's not a good idea to lock loading scripts to only 'scripts' folder

BTW, about specular mapping and normals - it is indeed possible to export normal data for VC. The default map models were exported without normals data, and that is why the normal data for the roads needs to be hardcoded. So please make tje option of specular mapping on the models that do have normals.

Is there a way to get rid of the water square? In Vice City. When I pilot a helicopter above water, it has a large square in the water that follows me around.
