I think that can be fixed with changed sniper texture.

I lol'd with all the replies. Is obvious that isn't a texture work only.

My cop cars and a few other cars in Vice City do not have neo reflections. It also crashes with limit adjuster. Using 2.8c

Hey guys, I'm probably asking this in the wrong place, but since this thread is followed by many, and many of you really know your stuff, I hope you'll excuse me in my wish to get the answers sooner. So, here's what I want to know:

Is there any mod, script or similar, that will allow me to have both, the Leviathan and the Hunter spawned at the same time at the air strip in GTA SA?

Btw, I already have Limit Adjuster and I can push any game's limits if that's needed.

Do you guys remember how we had the option to drive slowly and actually accelerate gradually in GTA SA by gently holding " X " on Playstation 2? Is there any mod/script that will allow something like that on PC?

And finally, any mod that enables mouse roam while driving a car in GTAIII/VC just like in GTA SA?

Many thanks in advance.

How the f*ck do you gradually hold a button? You just press it or not, there's no point in between.

If you are interested enough to give your opinion, then read more thoroughly next time, but anyways, since you clearly have no idea what I'm implying, please restrain yourself from further comments.

I believe Ginput does exactly that with the triggers. Unless if you're talking about using default PS2 controls, no such luck there.

The inferior plastic consolites have analog buttons on their controllers, that's why you can control the speed and acceleration so easily.

PC Keyboards are digital, however, so you either press the button or you don't, therefore there's no "inbetween" like in the plastic toys.

The DualShock 2 had pressure sensitive buttons,so it may be possible that you could control the car acceleration.(I don't recall this since I used DualShock one back then).

What I meant was that you can't do that on a keyboard since these have digital buttons. You either press it or not.

Also no need to get on the defensive just because a said a bad word :p.

Yeah, I understand that, but what I had in mind how that particular aspect could have been pulled off is maybe simply by pressing another key while accelerating forward with " W " in your car. As a matter of fact just like controls on foot, when walking I mean - you press only " W " and the character runs, you press " W + Shift " he sprints and you press " W + Ctrl " he slowly walks. I dunno, I always liked slowly cruising and listening to some good tunes on PS2 :)

Eh, I'd say just swap to a gamepad when driving with Ginput.

True that, will do. Any guidance on spawning Hunter and Leviathan at the same time on air strip? Thanks!

To make the Hunter and the Leviathan spawn at the same time you have to modify the Main.scm file, it's easy (Maybe)

Sorry, Bad English :)

I really don't see how you could sensibly get pressure sensitive input unless you're using a controller that supports it together with Ginput.

~snip~

i now that its not a texture thing cuz i used the .dff/.txd of the laser rifle from VC...

its some thing different than a texture of/from a crosshair...

The screenshot pretty much proves that it is possible. A part of the laser dot code is present in GTA:SA, it simply has to be implemented.

And no, it requires more than a texture change. You would need to make the game load the laser dot sprite from hud.txd and draw it using the leftover code.

By ' simulating ' it using another keyboard button. Just like we are able to walk, run and sprint on foot. Again, I'm no expert in modding, I'm talking off the top of my head, it just seems to be possible looking at things logically.

There is keyboard with pressure sensitive buttons than can be binned to gamepad buttons to get the sensitivity. Also some games like older Tom Clancys used mouse wheel to change the sprint speed iirc.
