Why can't I ever reproduce these things? Someone reported this a while ago I think and it was caused by SAMP-restore or something :/ Strange though that this should happen with pipe 5 but not 0...the two use almost the same code.

 

Yes, I reported and indeed it was caused by "samp graphic restore" plugin

I have a problem with the III/VC version of your mod. After installing it (I had installed both CLEO Library and Ultimate ASI Loader), GTA III crashes after the intro movies. I set txdLimit to 1024, but the problem still exists.

rename neo folder as explained in the readme

All Vredist versions installed? 2015 -> 2005? All .NET Framework versions installed? 4-5 -> 3.0? You can install all versions with AiO Runtimes.

Also try using a different .exe

It's like this and loading screen as I said stop at about 80%. This heppens when starting new game or loadin saved one, as soon as I remove empty txd.img file game can load....

Oh, you have the stupid txd.img loading bug. Normally it should load just fine if you restart the game (I also have this bug but it doesn't happen all the time)

Try to start the game first without any mods and let it build a txd.img after that close the game and replace it with aap's "dummy".

LOL. Sometimes happens, sometimes not to me too. And I need to close it from Task Manager as well.

 

Either remove doubled faces or convert PS2 dff

The most interesting thing is: I have PS2 dffs and that's why I need the backface culling option enabled. :/

Use PC dffs then :D.

Nevermind. It's already fixed with some missing PS2 dffs. Thanks to MugetsugaPatch. :D

It was supposed to be the same thing as rain droplets, just with red tint, but for some reason it's not done yet. Edited by ThirteenAG

Thanks men, reflections finally works. I erased empty one and let the game to make new one and it works!! ;) And thanks to Hero. GTAIII is one of mine most favorite games but only thing that game really lacks is contrast, contrast is too low.

 

Hero what size is reasonable to go with env map size for Xbox reflections, right now is envMapSize=2048 I'm playin' @1440p?

2048 holy f*ck, I'm also playing on 2560x1440 (iMac 27" Display) and 512 is enough :)

You can also disable the blueish colorfilter with SharpTrails

Back to my rain problem in III. Rain particles is absolutely absent in my game, even in cutscenes. Reverting to older gpu driver did not help. Only OS reinstall now ?

The golden car bug is back on the latest build, at least on my game. :'(

But it seems only happens with the tuning parts in the different modding shops around San Andreas.

Maybe converting the tuning parts from PS2 to PC will fix this problem? I repeat, at least on my game is happening in that way.

 

EDIT:

Ok, it seems to be a issue with some graphic cards. The golden car bug happens on my AMD but not on my Intel 256MB. It's another weird bug like the San Andreas sun lensflare working on NVidia videocards but not on Intel neither AMD?

Hm...that often means some shader variable is somewhat undefined and then it depends on the driver what happens...a PIX frame would certainly help in this case, but it's quite possible you won't see the bug when using PIX (heisenbug!). I recently had a similar problem with the red cylinder...the shader debugger gave the expected values but the actual values were different.

No need for os reinstall really...It's either game or mod. Just uninstall&install fresh game. Rain should be there then.
