Now it would be helpful if you told us *what* assertion failed. I'm gonna assume you didn't rename the neo directory, rookie mistake.

And what about the scretchy, glitched ped models? Is there any possibility to fix it? I really enjoyed this mod and this thing is annoying as f*ck ;-;

I'm still waiting for a fix on the stretchy models,it looks like this:

 

I tried putting the worldpipe to -1,1 and 2,none of those workkOMxTBL.jpg

It's the same problem like this guy have... but my peds heads going up, not in the sides

What about making GTA3 vehicles' engine smoke like on PS2 (I mean white then black, based on damage)

or it's more relative to silentpatch?

Try Liberty City Leftovers fix for tha smoke (and other particle effects)

Thanks, I was able to read the readme but failed to understand it thoroughly. I did miss the renaming part, thanks again, now it's working.

Mine goes to every side,including up,I just shot this because I thought it was the best screen of it.

What kind of gpu you have? I have seen similiar problems with broken drivers on old ati cards

Already my main graphic card is broken, so I use gpu on my mainboard... (nvidia geforce 7025 / nvidia nforce 630a)

@EDIT

With new graphic card there's no problem with properly rendering, problem solved.

The potatoe is probably old and rotten. You need to go to a farm to buy a new fresh grown potatoe.

Try Liberty City Leftovers fix for tha smoke (and other particle effects)

 

Still not 100% accurate, but Leftovers Fix or just the PS2 particle.cfg will make the smoke much more fluid than in the vanilla PC port.

Im using skygfx and i got one question/sugestion? Could you make the VCS/LCS car reflections update faster cuz some times when im in a car the reflections get stuck for example when im in a city the reflection of the building is stuck and im in the middle of the desert and i hope this doesnt offend you . thanks if you took this nicely( I love your mod skygfx)

Whenever I start up the game and drive around for 10-15 minutes, my screen will start to flicker with white stuff. Whenever it flickers, it happens for a split second that it's impossible to capture a screenshot of it.

Here's a video of it (0:5 and 0:10 seconds is the flickering part)

 

 

 

 

I do not know if SilentPatch or SkyGfx is causing this, but I'm sure there's no conflict between the two as SilentPatch's TwoPassRendering and NVCShader is set to 0.

I also have Project 2DFX installed but it's probably not the case as I played SA-MP with Project 2DFX (without SkyGFX) and no flickering problem.

No matter what settings I use, PC-like or PS2-like settings, the flickering won't stop. Could it be something related to memory stream? If so, any idea how can I resolve this?

Honestly I don't really care much about VCS reflections. You can't do them right without changing how the world is rendered so any attempt at improving them without that is rather futile.

Temporary disable Project 2dfx and limit adjuster. It's somehow related to Stream memory size hacking.

It was a try to fix this bug in fastman's limit adjuster but probably no luck yet, and also it's mostly incompatible with project 2dfx.

 

So, not using Project 2dfx is the only solution for now

Honestly I don't really care much about VCS reflections. You can't do them right without changing how the world is rendered so any attempt at improving them without that is rather futile.

I found some bugs on the SA PS2 vehicles some days ago. Or maybe they are like that on PS2 too, idk. :D

I will post them on his topic later.

Thanks, that's what I thought too, it could be also the fact that I have too many mods installed with 2DFX which might have caused this, I'll try again later with just 2DFX installed and no other mods. SkyGFX/SilentPatch is NOT the cause of it. I tried to narrow down the problem by disabling several mods, including SkyGFX (but not Project 2DFX) the problem still occurs, so my apologies to The Hero, this mod is perfectly fine.

I think you should probably not use double faced materials then. You just can't draw transparent geometry 100% right, there'll always be bugs like these.

Thanks, that's what I thought too, it could be also the fact that I have too many mods installed with 2DFX which might have caused this, I'll try again later with just 2DFX installed and no other mods. SkyGFX/SilentPatch is NOT the cause of it. I tried to narrow down the problem by disabling several mods, including SkyGFX (but not Project 2DFX) the problem still occurs, so my apologies to The Hero, this mod is perfectly fine.

I have tested this for a long time and I can say that this bug appears even on clean game+Silentpatch+skygfx+2dfx, without any other mod, so you can't "minimize" this effect. Only 'yes' or 'no'

Hi The Hero, first before nothing, thank you so much for your incredible job in the GTA modding scene and all yours great MODs.

 

I've a question about the compatibility of your MOD, I'm using the 13AG's widescreen MOD that uses the d3d8 to d3d9 wrapper too like this MOD, I want to know if the d3d8.dll that comes with 13AG's widescreen MOD (size 1.25 MB) is compatible with your MOD. (this question is relevant to your other MOD called sharptrails).

 

I don't know if I've explained well, regards.

 

EDIT: With compatibility I want to say if I have not to replace the 13AG's widescreen d3d8.dll with yours for that your MODs work fine at 100%.
