They might as well combine other existing San Andreas cities in a GTA game. Or better yet, make a whole GTA world. they would already have the programming from GTA 4 Liberty City there so its easier to just bring and refresh it for this gen then create a brand new city like venturas Eh. But then again, new areas would better work than reworked areas. Especially one that's been re-worked three or four times. I'm all for a LC DLC, and I do think that's what DJ Pooh is talking about, but GTA does need new areas. But, I was serious before about a GTA with all cities combined. One can dream, though. Yeah, because one sh*tty apartment burning down means you can no longer live in that district anymore.... He could easily have moved into a different place in Broker, or moved into the old place. 5 years is a long time, it wouldn't stay burnt out forever. Jesus Christ, i'm guessing you're not the biggest Niko fan out there, hah. Roman could've still died but nobody deleted his LI profile. Niko could be just remembering his deceased cousin in the day of his birthday. This doesn't prove jacksh*t. Props to OP for posting this, though. Technically, this is true. If they are gonna do it again then at least add more than just a city. I want suburban areas and countryside. Maybe some of the smaller cities like Buffalo, Syracuse, Albany, Rochester. Imagine something like V's map but with LC down the bottom right, no desert area, little towns here and there and maybe a couple of cities away at the other side of the map. They got no excuse not to do it now. If V is what they can do on a PS3/360 then just imagine what they can do on a PS4/XB1 near the end of their lifespan. They might just add LC (Along side Yankton)to GTA Online as filler content just to make the fanboys happy and to give people something to do while they remake either VC/SF/LC or whatever other city they want to add... Its actually pretty feasible that they would do that... From a business standpoint it would generate alot of buzz and would probably bring in even more revenue from people who buy it specifically for the new city/cities... If it is going to be DLC, I would bet that it would involve at least 2 of the characters from GTA 5 (Probably Michael and Trevor) going to LC to carry out a series of heists. I'm sure Lester would be involved with this as well. One scenario for the next DLC - Michael loses BIG at the Los Santos Casino, and severely pisses off the local cartel that runs the Casino when he and Trevor try to steal back his losses. They are caught, and are told to leave Los Santos or face death (or at least threaten to kill Michael's family). Michael decides that the only way to beat the cartel and live safely in Los Santos - is to buy the casino out from under them. He convinces Trevor that they need to go to LC and complete a series of heists, and asks Lester to contact his contact in LC, Niko Bellic. Michael and Trevor arrive in LC, and are greeted by a much more settled and 'well off' Niko. Niko tells them that his crime days are long behind him, but he still has numerous contacts within LC to help them plan an execute their heists. Cue side missions with various GTA 4 characters, including at least one heist mission where they team up with the McReary crime family. Smaller heists/missions lead to an eventual 'climatic' heist, and eventually Michael and Trevor fly back to LS to claim the Casino and wipe out the cartel. At the conclusion, the player now has access to both cities via their respective international air ports (probably just a cut scene as a transition to each area) and GTA Online now extends to LC as well.
