What sports classic should I have for racing?

I like having customised cars in my favourite racing categories. What should I go with in sports classic? I like both the Z-Type and Coquette Classic.

The Z-Type has higher top end speed and is heavy (good for jostling in races) but the Coquette does have better acceleration and maybe handling (I can handle Adders and Z-Types fairly comfortably though). What do?

i would say the coquette classic, won't reach the top speed that quickly in most of the races.

I like the look of both too. The Z-Type fully modded is boss though. I've won races with both. I do favour cars with higher top end speeds. Chasing people down late in races and snatching wins on the line is the best feeling in races.

Pigalle beats both. Monroe is never wrong though.

Z-type for the win. When it comes to overall speed and handling the Z-type can be beat. I love the coquette classic, but that is slides all over the place.

Coquette wasnt out at the time. Stat wise coquette has the best acceleration by FAR.

Has somebody posted a new handling file since the Coq Classic was released? or you using the website bar graphs that everybody knows is nowhere close to accurate?

Saying that the bars are no where accurate is stupid

Coquette has about half a bar better acceleration than the Z Type, but slightly worse top speed and breaking. Same Traction. So should be better.

Zentorno has the best biggest acceleration bar and it is the best accelerating car in the game so they are pretty accurate

If you are serious about having the best car for each class, I would check out:

https://www.youtube.com/user/hwkabro/featured

But specifically to your question:

Good post thank you. Interesting that the video author thought the Z-Type was light. The car it is based off (Bugatti Type 57 Atlantic) had aluminium panels. But it feels like such a solid car in races. It's much harder to spin out then most other cars (like the Adder) which is great in races when things get aggressive. Once you do get spun out it seems a little harder to get going again (again like the Adder) then some other cars in its class. It also handles like you want it to like the author said. You shape it into corners and it takes the exact line you wanted/expected and when you floor it out of corners it holds it's shape without the back end sliding or drifting.

It's the lightest Sports Classic at 1000kgs

Z-Type will make classic races easiest as it's ahead of the pack by a decent margain.

The Pigalle is number two, and it handles really well too.

The Coquette Classic is ok. It's not far off of the pace of the Pigalle, but it doesn't have the most reliable handling.

I love the acceleration of the Coquette, it flat out accelerates faster than all the rest. It has squirrelly handling though.

The Z Type is the car of choise for serious racers, has predictable handling and the best top speed.

The Monroe is also a top choice, but it's just slower.

I wouldn't dump money on a Coquette just for racing, It has power but it handling is all over the place, not reliable at all.
Go for the Z-Type for long tracks were top speed is a key factor and the Pigalle for tight tracks were handling is king.

I solely use the Pigalle and I have a 2:1 race win ratio, so interpret from that what you will.
