Super Diamond Spawning Online? [Last Gen]

I've been playing this game since day one and never - never have I seen a Super Diamond randomly spawn with an NPC driver.

After a RR mission, I was riding down toward LS and sure enough, there is was. I jacked it and tried to store, to no avail.

Taking to LSC only got me the "too hot to modify" message.

Question I have is: have I been missing out? Have others seen this car spawn online before? I was a bit shocked/surprised (and then disappointed I couldn't keep it).

Also, what's the point of spawning this car, Infernuses, Rapid GTs, etc. if we cannot steal them and sell them? I don't get it.

Anyhow, just curious if others have seen this car. Here's the pic I took:

It has always been there. Quite rare though.

 

It's high-end. Too hot to modify. Purchasable on Legendarymotorsports.com

I found one of these when I was on the hunt for my Schafter, so yeah it's been around for a while.

Not rare.

I see them quite frequently around the Golf Course and Portola Drive, when driving a Super Diamond myself or another luxury car (i.e. Exemplar, Schafter)

If you have one in your garage (or someone else does) it is far more likely to spawn. Same goes for a fair few other "high end" cars.

Thanks for the feedback. I bought one a long time ago and sold it, as it was terrible in races.

Haven't even thought about this car for about a year until finding it on the road last night.

Pretty wild to find something "rare," but a real bummer that we can't do anything with them.

Wish they'd fix that!

If they allowed you to keep stolen NPC "high-end" vehicles by paying something around the price of the vehicle + a little extra for LSC's risk taking in removing the previous tracker, I would be fine with that. Otherwise, we'd just see everyone waiting for an Adder/Entity to spawn and sell.

If it's going to cost "around the price of the vehicle plus a little extra for LSC's risk" surely you just buy the real deal?

 

Like in real life, if a DVD costs £12, and the pirate version costs £2, it's a no brainer, but if the pirate version was £12.50

I usually see the odd few driving around when I pull out my diamond but apart from that I think thry are a rare spawn.

I'm with Nipper.

 

You should pay maybe 50-60% of the retail price, but that's all it's worth from then on. If you sell it then you only get the usual 60% of the value (or whatever it is). Plus, since it's a street car, you can only sell one a day (in-game day). That would make it impossible to benefit from it, other than saving a bit of dosh for nicking it, what with stealing cars being specifically mentioned in the title of the game.

I would prefer 80-90 % of the price on the website. For example a Zentorno found on the street (not possible, but just as an example) would cost 670k, when it costs 725k when ordered. That would still encourage the search for the vehicles. This is something Rockstar might even consider doing. If it would cost 400k from the street, it would just mean glitching and youtube videos, so no please.

 

Yet still this is useless blollsh*t wishlist stuff.
