I'm not sure why everyone is so excited and bucked up for a casino; knowing R*, there will be a cap on how much you can bet - like 10,000$, and you can only bet that once every 24 hour period.

also, i just dont get the appeal of the casino. Is everyone too young to visit a casino IRL? I mean sure, why not have it in the game.. but next to heists its like everyone speculates about the casino like you'd never believe.

Because it adds something more to a repetitive game.

I just have an Image of two tanks parked either side of the entrance and players being waved in or not by rotating the turret as appropriate.

That would take away the immersion of it being an actual casino.

Nope. I love the casino and I love gambling (IRL) and I love gambling on games just as much!

 

On Watch_Dogs all I used to do is play poker ($100 000 buy in) and when I run out of money I go out hacking people just to fund the gambling.

Nope. I love the casino and I love gambling (IRL) and I love gambling on games just as much!

That's not the same comparison. There are multiple clothing stores, gun stores, and mod shops. It's easy to avoid them by going to one that doesn't have people surrounding them. However, there's only one Casino in the game leaving you to choose between going into a warzone or ignoring the feature entirely if people surround it.

 

ok, how about this, have guards standing outside of the casino patrolling the area and if someone starts to spray bullets the guards kill them instantly with one shot of the sawn of shot gun

How is it any different than some idiot waiting outside lsc wuth an rpg pointed right where your car will spawn. Or some guy outsude ammunation or a clothes store pointing a tank cannon right at the door.

 

Why should a casino be treated any differently?
