What exactly is different?

I heard R3 now makes you move when holding a sniper and was told that can be put back to the way it was.

And you now have to hold L1 and R1 to shoot from a car but was also told this can be changed back to the way it was.

 

So whats different that can not be changed back?

A few things have changed but most things can be changed back;

 

Handbrake used to be on RB and A, one of them is now assigned to ducking behind the dashboard in the car, while the other serves as the handbrake. You can swap them out in the settings to your preferred handbrake.

Then there is the drive by as driver that used to be LB to start shooting, which is now LB to aim and then RB to shoot. To me this feels clunky so I set it back to just wildly shooting again.

Aside from that you can move around with your sniper if you bind zooming to the d pad.

u can still choose weapons the old way..instead of using the touch pad..and just go to settings,in vehicle,scroll down towards bottom and change aim+fire to fire.

Apart from having to either have X/Aor R1/RB be handbrake and the other be duck down, everything else can be set to the same controls as last gen.
