IHateEverything
I can bet you everything thats in my wallet, that there will be a GTA V: Game of the Year edition with all the DLC released, as well as minor improvements/additions they will add on between now and next fall. It's really smart marketing by Rockstar when you think about it. Fall 2013: Release GTA V Fall 2014: Release Next Gen GTA V Winter 2015: Release PC GTA V Fall 2015: Release GTA V: Game of The Year Edition In essence, they are re-releasing GTA V 4 times, and it probably costs them very little to make any additional dlc content/enhancements, and are making millions upon millions in revenue in the process. So they are essentially making GTA V profitability last for 3 years, rather than 1. An yes, I have friends who never double dip for games, double dip for gta v, and gta v next gen, and are considering getting the pc edition as well for mods. It's really brilliant quite honestly. Vehicles are free too, but you have to pay for the Garage. Clothes, tats, etc are free too. It's really brilliant quite honestly. That's exactly what I'm doing and I've never brought the same game for 3 different consoles before (only games I've bought for 2 consoles were VC and SA for PS2 and PC but PC SA stopped working after a couple of days for some reason and I lost my CD for PC VC) On-topic though, not that bad of an idea. They're going to profit lots from it just like other companies have been doing. Edited November 24, 2014 by WorldofCog
