The whole perk about having cheats in the phone is being able to save them. Otherwise it's faster and easier just using the button codes. The only other sensical reason to add phone number cheats is if they were trying to hide newly added cheats or something that weren't in last gen. BTW, all the cheats you see on the IGN wiki page, were found by me, unless otherwise stated in the reddit thread. Also, a lot of people are uploading youtube vids with the exact same list as I have. It is unlikely that someone would not find different cheats than me, and unlikely that they would find them in the exact same order. Therefor, I can only conclude that these cheats are coming from my reddit post. I feel as though I should be getting credit. Most of the youtubers are referencing the IGN Wiki page for these. I believe that someone copied the cheats from my list into the IGN page. I just recently found a cheat that isnt on the list. I have only put it in my reddit thread. If it appears on the IGN wiki page, and then in youtube vids, then I will be pretty damn sure that I'm not getting credit for my work. I actually found the Buzzard one as you can see I posted it in this thread couple of days ago, although it's possible that someone else found it as well I suppose.
