Contact mission playlist - the 5 essentials...

Ok so I scoured the social club, google, and forums looking for a proper ps4 playlist that includes (coveted, potshot, coasting, cco2 and cco3). Now in searching I was able to find my own 360 playlist (http://socialclub.rockstargames.com/games/gtav/playlists/playlist/Ins7kEzir0KGp-MscpurJQ) This doesn't seem to allow me to permently 'add to game' because it's a 360 playlist. You can view it as a ps4 playlist and 'add to game' but it doesn't save.

 

Now there are ps4 playlists that contain potshots and coveteds but theyre all 16x and what not. These were created BEFORE NEW GEN released but somehow migrated over to ps4. My beloved playlist did not migrate.

 

What I need to find (or create if possible) is a native ps4 playlist containing these 5 missions.

 

Does anyone have a link to a proper ps4 playlist with these? or know how to recreate it or migrate a old playlist?

I would think you need to play them, then bookmark them, then re create a ps4 playlist for them.

Playlists and created jobs were the same as purchased money - they only transfer in the same console family. I can play all my old PS3 races, but if I edit them they become PS4 races and PS3 users can't play them any more.

 

It's a bit lame.

 

I've never understood why jobs can't instantly be cross-platform anyway. I did ask Rockstar about this, but got zero response.

I would think you need to play them, then bookmark them, then re create a ps4 playlist for them.

just trying to get a link while I don't have access to the game. I'll try and bookmark them after completing them but because they're contact missions (that don't actually have a contact) I'm not sure I'll be able playlist them in game.

Coasting and CCO2 are either not able to be hosted or not registered as completed for me anymore.

 

I have coveted cco3 and potshot bookmarked so I can make a playlist of those.

You may have to wait for them to pop up in the vote screen for now. I think on LG they are not in the jobs list.

So I'm still kind of stuck hoping someone has a previous playlist that somehow migrated over randomly. Even slimmer chance someone made that exact playlist.

 

There's 16x playlists all over the place but no one but me me thought to put 5 separate missions in a row?!?

Bump, I played coasting through a playlist I came across. I was unable to bookmark it (I don't think you ever could). The way I added it on 360 was through the recently played list. It does not show up there anymore after completing it. That may only be so on ps4 maybe someone on ps3 can still make it happen. I'm left hoping someone has one or can make one.

 

I WANT A PLAYLIST WITH COVETED, CRYSTAL CLEAR OUT 2, POTSHOT, COASTING AND CRYSTAL CLEAR OUT 3.

 

Why is that so hard.

 

A better questions is why the f*ck doesn't rockstar just let us playlist all contact missions.

You can't do it anymore sorry. Crystal 2 doesn't work anymore, it stays greyed out. I'm sure it was rockstars intention to let you seamlessly play through any missions in a playlist but they were never able to find a way to make pegasus gear land between missions if they wete in the air when the mission ends so they put the whole thing on hold.

 

I have made a playlist on ps4 with the missions you can still add but you can't do as many as you could a few months ago.

PS, if you think its still possible to make that playlist you want on ps3 I can make a new account on ps3 then make the list and transfer to ps4. But I'll have to check it out on my already transfered account first.

I have access to all those missions as they regularly come up on my voting screens but you can't playlist them

anymore after completion on the PS4 and its the same on the PS3.

 

When you go to create the Playlist and go to missions they are "greyed" out and can't be added. I believe

they disabled them around 1.17 update.

 

The only ones left now are the playlists that were created for the PS3 but no one made the playlist you're

after sadly.

I can use my PS3 playlist on PS4. The only contact missions I have is Coveted, Crystal III, & Potshot. I use the same one Static posted.

Ask rockstar:p. To be honest I did not think they know a lot about how there own game is played. Developers and beta testers have never had to grind for money so wouldn't have even been exposed to a playlist before. So they wouldn't have grown to enjoy them. If they did know about them, they would have realise they broke pegasus by now.

 

To be honest not a single other person on this forum has noticed the pegasus glitch or mentioned it in the changes between patches either so it's not just rock star who don't play the game.

Not at all. Sony and Microsoft have nothing to do with it. The software (in this case GTA) stores the creator data in whatever format the developers choose. For some reason they have decided not to allow us to share that data across platforms. This is purely a Rockstar decision, or oversight.

Sure, 1.17 introduced a major change to the way pegasus works. In every other patch since the dawn of time any pegasus vehicle left out between missions would remain exactly were it was and in the same condition it was ready for the start of the next mission.

 

As all the old time playlisters would know, you simply landed your buzzard up on the starting point as they cargobob headed for home or you drove your tank back up the hill. If you were doing a different mission next you would take your buzzard to the starting point of the next mission (say crystal ii or iii). You could make beautiful flowing mission playlists.

 

As of 1.17 several things went bad. The pegasus gear no longer stays where it was, now it teleports back to whichever pickup point you got it from, could be downtown, sandy shores, paleto bay.. So each time you jump to the next mission you have to go for a short or sometimes very long drive to get it again. Now that's a major problem for coveted, minor inconvenience for crystal iii and for those that knew about sticking a tank on the bridge of potshot... Disaster.

 

Now that's something.. But this glitch/change also totally broke the mission restart on normal missions. I'll use an example that happened to me recently in boat by the bay. Tough mission for people that are in a hurry. I did it with three guys around level 100 and I flew up there from the beach helipad downtown and parked my buzzard at the car park right near the mission as usual. The other runs stormed the joint and all died.. I sniped everyone and then attempted to do the boat run so!o without air support but its not easy and I died in the river.

 

OK so we all restart, normally my buzzard would be there at the carpark ready to follow the boat when we needed it. But no... Thanks to the genius of 1.17 it was downtown miles and miles away. I figured the best thing and fastest way around this is go to the base get a jet blow up my buzzard fly the jet back to paleto bay and call another buzzard so at least next time it would be closer. Of course that all took a while and again everyone was dead, I tried boat to buzzard to boat by myself, I think I failed again, can't remember but the point is... Stupidity pegasus glitch.

 

Playing base invaders now and restarting can invoke some very interesting effects if you have a chopper or two out and a miljet .

 

1.17 also introduced a bug into all the versus missions where pegasus will not answer the phone and I believe neither will the mechanic (not 100% on that) but pegasus is no go. Versus missions were always fun when you jumped in a buzzard or besra it gave such a wide range of tactics and possibilities. Now they just aren't worth playing.

 

I hope that explains some of the broken bits about 1.17+.

@elfoam - thank you for your informed post on the Pegasus spawns.

 

I am not sure if would have applied to your mission but does the Pegaus vehicle not now despawn after 2 mins

without use as a result of that update or does that not apply in every mission?

I'm tempted to just email rockstar and maybe they'll provide me with a playlist link for a 5/6 mission playlist Dirt Road, CCO2, Potshot, Coasting, CCO3, Coveted

 

at this point it seems like the only way I'm gonna find it because you just can't make them anymore.

 

 

As for Pegasus spawns, not only where they disappearing after a couple minutes but they were also relocating between mission on playlists so peg vehicles were pretty useless on the last patch. After 1.21 I haven't tested to see if the spawns are fixed now.

Think you will find this is because those missions are not officially missions that can be accessed from the jobs menu anymore

so that's why they are greyed out because they're not in the jobs list.

 

I'm still searching for something official but I think R* decided to make those missions only available by the corona's/voting screens.
