No, not present on PS2 (only the windows night texture on LS and the Hashbury hippie color figure) anyway, I will add the PS2 textures later which includes these things.

And gym_weights.txd needs the PS2 version, so we have the real gym weights instead of that weird box texture...

gym_weights.txd from PS2 are the same as PC so still using a Cherry Popper box texture, the other ones are from Mobile.

It's broken on PS2 2

Pleasure-dl.dff belongs to gta_int.img. On the pack provided, it is inside gta3.img folder.

Thanks El Dorado. I was suspecting that was wrong in that folder but I not was sure. Anyway I will update that ZIP later with the new things pointed by ALCAMJI.

Ok so now that this thread is back from the grave, it's time to scout the PS2 game for more differences :p

Here's something I noticed from a pic El_Dorado posted in the SkyGfx thread:

This building on the PS2 version doesn't seem to have this hole in the LOD model:

I need confirmation on this though.

That guy doesn't play SA in a real PS2, is PCSX2. We need a confirmation from someone with a real PS2 hardware.

I don't think it matters for map objects, anyways here''s from a real PS2 gameplay video:

No hole there as well :S

Thanks Reyks, I will try get the LOD dff. :)

I updated the PS2 converted DFFs ZIP, I added the ab_vaultdoor.dff from PS2 and moved the pleasure-dl.dff to gta_int.img folder (Thanks to El Dorado).

ALCAMJI: I just compared the GYM bike from

with PC and is the same thing (bad mapped textures) so don't post fake things please. I'm very sure that DFF are you using is converted from Mobile version.

Then a txd does the trick? In the other side I have the probably two LODs model to check that, but I will try them later.

I don't know... that looks like a typical model bug to me, unless they used a completely invisible texture or something, wich is unlikely.

Anyways try convertting both .dff and .txd we will see what happens :p

inadequate sorry for the msitake, I have a small list of SA bugs but I didnt wrote which ones are only PC and which ones are PS2 and PC ones.

Also, the .txd Reyks fixng some PC textures, that ones are broken on PS2 2 or I was a PC only issue for compressing the textures?

You mean the gradients?

The PS2 ones aren't broken since they don't use DXT compression, but they don't really look good either, too pixelated.

Some ps2 (mostly alpha) textures are 4 or 8 bit bitmaps. I don't know if PC supports this format.

Depends on your hardware if it's still supported (very probably not). But if it isn't the game should convert 4 or 8-bit textures to 32-bit automatically (at least III and VC do that).

Nice and comfortable theme.
There is a long-standing problem for which I have not yet found a solution.
The ps2 was more of peds on streets. For example, in San Ferro full of places where there are no peds. Before Cranberry Station general never anyone there or Pier 69.
Is there a mod that solves the problem?

Silentpatch + skygfx and you get back all missing peds.

Also, tell me where are all that 4 or 8 bit bitmaps so I can see if they re fixable for PC...

If you look to the main post, you will find the fix (SilentPatch) right there.

I just look into this and like El Dorado said is a TXD problem. I tested with my PS2 textures (I will upload them soon, I'm fixing some things :D) and with them the hole is not present.
