I would like to see a mod that brings back the original difficulty in 'Supply Lines' and the sirens during 'Black Project' from PS2 to PC. Oh and also spawn the basketball from the beginning.

this wasnt original difficulty, but rather a bug, because even when you glide, the plane fuel was used.

and the sirens during 'Black Project' from PS2 to PC.

Wasnt this already posted somewhere in this topic?

Oh and also spawn the basketball from the beginning.

Not sure about this one. If it's really change and where was the change done.

Depends on what game you will use. If you will use GINPUT mod, it will show either xbox or playstation buttons.

It's still a PS2 feature. While I agree that using fuel while gliding is a bug, the mechanics seemed intentional (PS2's is dependent on the vehicle speed, while PC is dependent soley on time, I believe 20 minutes lol).

Thanks, I'll go look for the sirens.

The basketball part doesn't seem to be controlled by the main.scm, at least not for spawning at the beginning. I'm also basing this from wiki, so maybe I'm wrong here.

edit: Here's my edited main.scm which includes the PS2 Supply Lines (original and non-gliding fuel depletion), PS2 Black Project sirens, Life's a Beach's score requirement of 4000, and the introduction's train's speed (slower than PC)

You could also alter the train speed in intro cutscene, which is slightly slower on PS2 :D

by basketball minigame, was it supposedly unlocked everywhere on game start, or just some specific places? (like grove street etc.)

Or just edit @Mugetsuga's SCM that's a lot better...

It's time to try.

But before downloading, be sure to read this.

You'll found two main.scm:

1. In this one, everything that has been reported is prensent (Life's a beach 4000 points, intro train speed, Black Project alarm sound).

2. It's basically the same as above, but without the alarm sound (no complaints from people that don't like it like that).

These changes are not done to be played with keyboard controls.

To really have what I shown in the screenshots, it's better to use PS2 Feels or at least use the american.gxt and follow the instructions of what to disable in GInputSA.ini.

If you really don't want to use PS2 Feels, just download GInputSA and SA classic textures for GInput, but you're warned, it won't be totally the same.

sure thing lol. Just checked it out and it is .5 slower than PC :panic:

The basketball thing, I have no idea. Like I said, I'm basing this off of wiki, which may be unreliable.

edit: now includes the intro train speed from PS2:

Can you post the code's fragment where it points out the difference in Supply Lines?

There's two parts (initial and return trip):

PC:

if 00E1: player 0 pressed_key 16 else_jump @ZERO2_2989 007F: [email protected] -= frame_delta_time * 20.0 // (float)
00E1: player 0 pressed_key 16 else_jump @ZERO2_7262 007F: [email protected] -= frame_delta_time * 20.0 // (float)

PS2:

02E3: [email protected] = car [email protected] speed if [email protected] > 1.0 else_jump @ZERO2_2986 [email protected] -= 45.0
  [email protected] > 1.0 else_jump @ZERO2_7226 [email protected] -= 45.0

replace those entire codes and change the labels accordingly and you'll get my fix. Use the entire codes for the original but bugged Supply Lines, or use only

[email protected] -= 45.0

to replace

007F: [email protected] -= frame_delta_time * 20.0 // (float)

for the saving-fuel-while-gliding fix.

Note: the PC script did not remove

02E3: [email protected] = car [email protected] speed

from the 2nd part, so i didn't need to post/change that part.

This problem occurs when you open a map in the "school"

It is present in the original version of the game

damn man looks like there is another difference in the Supply Lines mission. The RC actually has 900 health compared to 1000 health on PC... I'll have to compare both scripts thoroughly.

edit:

- CJ can be killed during the cutscene on PS2 (such as being shot by cops)

- the shooters have more accuracy on PS2

edit2:

Supply Lines should now work just like PS2 except for the getting killed during cutscene part

gts.

You should post the whole Supply Lines code here just to see if a CLEO script can be made using a mission pointer array instead of a whole SCM. Or to implement it in Mugetsuga's SCM as well.

I guess somebody should re-post PS2 script re-creates (maybe they're directly converted. however, doesn't matter) that aren't available in the main page of the topic. It's so outdated.

Btw, could someone send me the script code of PS2's 'Skip Trip' icon activating so it can be activated in foreigner scripts? All I can see the icon of it, but the white flash isn't working, not in any mod I've already found. (wondering if someone ever activated it here)

This function was implemented by _AG in its modification SkyUI (http://gtaforums.com/topic/899738-skyui/)

Hi there,

It's impossible to install all the features. Some got the same file.

Sad

Which mods specifically have the same file? When I installed this I don't remember running into any conflicting files. And even if they are the same you can merge the 2 (if it's text) or just pick the better looking one (in the case of models and textures).

Modloader works for that, if there are 2 identical files but they have a different function, they work
