So the old versions with blur enabled are completely removed from the internet? Gotta wait for a version with a toggle because I can't stand the aliasing when playing on a notebook.....

Guys, some time ago we were talking about that if to force AA with videocard driver, game lags, etc.

I want to say that now with last postprocessing plugin I force 8x AA with driver and get NO LAG. Some lag happens if it is storm or lot of smoke on screen. BUT that I fixed installing Overdose Effects 1.5. Now I have NO LAG with 8x AA whatever going on screen :) BTW, Overdose Effects are awesome :)

And 640x448. 800x600 is nothing close to PS2 resolution.

We are all from Europe so why not use Pal's resolution (720x576)?

 

That should be the internal resolution (as reported by pcsx2), which is different from the output standard (I guess)

UPDATE:

PS2 car reflections beta 5 added to the main post.

Changes:

  • Fixed exploded vehicles.
  • New version, shader is embedded in the asi now.
  • PC style environment maps are implemented, not PS2 style yet, though.

UPDATE:

PS2 car reflections beta 6 (almost final version) added to the main post.

Changes:

  • Lights are now brighter when on - code from PS2

 

Still missing the PS2 style environment map, but the PC style isn't too bad either.

UPDATE:

PS2 car reflections beta 7 added to the main post.

Changes:

  • Material's surface properties are now handled correctly. This should match the PS2 lighting exactly now (darker license plates, darker cars in general, bright lights by default).

  • This version is now final. You can cycle between PS2, PS2 with PC environment mapping and PC pipeline (in that order) with F6.

Oh right, you are a new member and you can't use PM system until now, after 50 posts I think, I forgot that.

 

Well, we will solve the problem here.

 

  • Download this and replace: https://www.sendspace.com/file/fxi7za
  • Delete reffix, now is useless because SilentPatch have that fix in it.
  • What is your settings in Mix Mods? Probably mix mods is conflicting with PS2shadows.asi, because the two have the same feature.
  • And what is that thing of crashes?

New members can't send PM's. You'd be better of reporting the issue to the author of the mod.

Is strange because for me doesn't happen the invisible cars, probably is the Mix Mods what he have installed, that mod have bugs in some functions.

Perfect, I look into your settings and most of them are disabled. I think is a problem in your side with your game, videocard or probably with the plugin, report it to the original author here. I have a problem with the plugin too but don't like your problem, also I have installed Mix Mods, SilentPatch, VehLightsFix, PostFX, NVG PS2 and the PS2 reflections works correctly.

Perfect, test all of your mods one by one, and I recommend you install modloader to avoid touch important game files (if you don't have it yet) and google gta_sa.exe compact.

 

EDIT:

If you find the issue, post here what is it, please.

 

EDIT 2:

Probably Windows 8.1 have the issue with your game, I use Windows 7.

Try this, change these setting in Mix Sets as SilentPatch already fixed those:

 

GALILEcheatFix = 1 >>>> set to -1

MouseFix = 1 >>>> set to -1

FrameDelay = 0 >>>> set to -1

 

and

 

StreamMemoryMB = 128 >>>> change to 512

- Also remove reffix.asi it's already implemented in SilentPatch.

- crashes.asi is quite a bit unstable try removing it.

 

And like inadequate said use ModLoader, about the compact gta_sa.exe some mods won't work with it just a heads up.

This one, enabled or disabled still working, even with SilentPatch. :p
