I'm disappointed that widescreen fix doesn't do anything with poker screen. I mean, it's stretched af on higher resolutions.

SCM Widescreen fix when Silent?

7. TO-DO LIST

  • Modify the main script by taking advantage of the last listed commands to align 2D stuff drawn by the script (i.e. minigames sprites should be aligned according to the screen centre), possibly with a save converter.

Fairly soon I'd say.

well, it was number 7 on the to-do list in december 2013, I'd say it must be number 4 for now

It's time to try.

But before downloading, be sure to read this.

You'll found two main.scm:

1. In this one, everything that has been reported is prensent (Life's a beach 4000 points, intro train speed, Black Project alarm sound).

2. It's basically the same as above, but without the alarm sound (no complaints from people that don't like it like that).

These changes are not done to be played with keyboard controls.

To really have what I shown in the screenshots, it's better to use PS2 Feels or at least use the american.gxt and follow the instructions of what to disable in GInputSA.ini.

If you really don't want to use PS2 Feels, just download GInputSA and SA classic textures for GInput, but you're warned, it won't be totally the same.

Great work Mugetsuga. Inadequate did a cleo script with the PS2 Black Project alarm and I was testing it sometime ago... but the lazy guy didn't never uploaded it. It seems that isn't needed anymore, isn't?

Does it have the "use analog stick to move" prompt in the gxt file and a fix for Tenpenny's Cop Car twitching at the intro?

What? If you're using the PS2 american.gxt, yes and about the twitching is fixed by SilentPatch thanks to the 30fps a long time ago.

I'm new to modding San Andreas, and I hate to be a pain in the arse, but is there any chance someone could make a quick step by step guide on how to install these mods or link to somewhere that explains. Its awful confusing trying to figure out which mods go in modloader / cleo etc I would very much appreciate it. Thanks.

Most things works in the modloader. ASI scripts are usually used in the script folder. And if you would be unsure you could just read the "read me" you usally get it, when downloading mods.

Well, I was testing it and crashes when I quit from the TV. Everything else works fine, it is only that. Someone can confirm? Or is it something colliding in my installation?

Main post has been updated.

  • Latest SilentPatch build added.
  • Latest SkyGfx build added.
  • PS2 Markers added.
  • PS2 converted vehicles to PC added. I included into it my converted tuning parts and my own fixed TXDs for them.

In the other side, I already made three cleo scripts for each fix by liamedwards12: Life's a Beach 4000 points, Black Project Alarm and Train Speed on the intro. And it seems they are working correct, so replace the SCM won't needed anymore. I will post them with the other updates in a few days onto the main post.

About this, only one script (it seems) is giving me troubles, so I will test them later for the last time and then upload them here. So... nothing is missing, right?

Inadequate, do you plan to release these cleos?

No idea why it crashes, like you said maybe something collide.

You tried on a clean install with just these files?

Maybe only the PS2 Black Project alarm, the other two scripts is giving me troubles. Anyway, you can try this. By the way, I will going to add them and some other updates to the main post soon.

I didn't try a clean install. I tested it on my modded installation, isn't very modded though. Works with save games, right? I mean, isn't needed to start a new game?

I will try it on a clean install later.

No, it doesn't require a new game, I would have precise it if not.

You need a GXT editor, the PS2 game to have access to the GXT, you open both GXT (PC and PS2).

With the PC one, you search for all the texts with terms like PED_FIREWEAPON and you replace the whole line by the PS2 one.

Here's a link with all the terms:

I guess I better use the Gxt of the Xbox version, since I never found a GTA SA with the Spanish language available in Ps2 only on Xbox

Not gonna work.

The first text box that appear in the game is different.

PS2:

Use the left analog stick to move Carl.

Xbox:

Use the left thumbstick to move Carl.

Even a little after.

PS2:

To pedal hold down Cross

Xbox:

To pedal hold R

Here's the GXT from PS2:

I did not exactly remember the controls of Xbox, only those that come in the Ginput.

So much so that I look for a series of videos of the game in PS2 in Spanish and I am correcting the text boxes one by one
