Vanilla or High Life - High End Appartment interiors

Recommended Posts

Got one of each (for each character). Depending on the location, the High Life ones can look pretty swanky (in terms of outside view), although the original ones have the advantage of a second viewing angle.

But yeah, it really depends whether or not you can put up with going up/down three flights of stairs whenever you want to use your apartment facilities. It's not as bad as the 'no running in the house!' days, but still - I find myself defaulting to my High Life pads, just out of convenience...

The highlife is nice because it's all 1 floor, but for more money you get less in window views. Also my 2 characters each have one of the styles at Integrity Way with the highlife apt not having the wall map in the computer room that the regular does.

Check out youtube for video of apartment window views, and there should also be views of all the interior layouts. There needs to be an in game way to preview apartment interiors and views.

For me it was all about location for my 10 car garage apt. Integrity Way is a good central location with quick access to the highway to Sandy Shore. Also i like that when exiting the garage that my vehicle spawns where the garage door is and not out in the street. So you may also want to research where your car will currently spawn.

I like both; the high-life ones are massively over-priced considering less room & less windows, but the lack of stairs and the general look works for me. Feels vaguely more feminine, too, which - being of the female persuasion - also works for me.

The high life ones are a f*cking rip off!!

you only have one view in one direction, and the bedroom window has shades.

The std high end interiors had at least 5 windows and a view in 2 directions.

Wish they would put some apts on the ocean front on the west coast.

There's a sh*t load of hotels, houses and apt buildings being unused..

Yeah, I'd like to see an apartment on the ocean front, I must admit. Shame there aren't more buildings that could be used for apartments in other areas, too - tbh, just new interiors that aren't such an expensive investment and that aren't so hideously modern.

I know the low-end and even mid-range apartments/houses are cheap and not ridiculously modern, but something new would be nice.

Definitely plugging ocean-views, though. Del Perro Heights doesn't exactly cut it.

Tell me about it.. :p

I even bought the high life Del Perro on one character and still a crappy parking lot view and a glimpse of the pier..

I'd like to see some sort of a resort/condo like building setup along the shoreline in the woods just outside of Paleto Bay. That'd be cool. A high end building with a ten car garage in the sticks.

The only thing that keeps me from moving my character to that part of the map is the fact that I can't get anything larger than a 6 car garage for the mid level housing. Which is kinda sh*t. It looks like they are going to cap the car storage at 20 for the PS3 and Xbox 360. It'd be nice then if we could buy whatever combination of properties we wanted until we hit the storage cap. I could have three 6 car garages and one 2 car garage for example. I don't see what the harm would be.

Anyway, on topic. I like the original high end apartments better. I like having different levels and different views. Especially if you buy a floor that's closer to the street. You can go down a level to the bedroom and see more of what's going on outside.

Absolutely in agreement about wanting a nice place in a less-populated area! I prefer the top end of the map, I spend far more time there than in Los Santos, partly because of off-roading and partly because it's just so much nicer! But, like you, a six-car garage doesn't do it for me.

I have one of the 6 car houses in Paleto on my newest character

She likes it up there, but cant see out the windows unfortunately. She also has the the lock up on South Shambles to store her other cars and its easy to grab those pimped out peyote's right outside to sell for a quick $12,940 :santa:

I prefer the original apartments because you can see out the windows and they feel more like condominiums vs the high life interiors which actually feel like apartments
