Is EOLC is emotional great as the initial storyline?

Ok so I checked google, and there is good reviews about EOLC , BUT: I want to know if this expansion is as emotional as the initial storyline*, you know, when good characters (possible spoiler!) have to die, and if you remember the sad (possible spoiler!) ending of the game, some players gut almost burst to tears and most of us was sad inside, DO EOLC brings you as well to this emotional states?

*initial storyline= Niko Bellic's story

The Lost & Damned is great in this emotion regard, while TBoGT ain't so much. TLAD is arguably moreso than the original story. Arguably.

Yup. Pretty emotional. Won't go any further just to avoid spoilers.

Episodes FROM Liberty City (EfLC), but yeah, both DLC's are great.

TLaD is definitely the most impacting. This game left me sitting on my bed, staring at the wall, going "damn..." for a couple hours. Definitely play Gay Tony first so you can really go out on something heavy.

TLAD is better in regards to emotion, than TBOGT. The theme tune of TLAD had a depressing, downbeat riff to it.

Cheers.

I remember the first time finishing TLAD and getting a real hollow feeling similar to how Johnny would. In ways I think it's more hard hitting and emotional than GTA IV.

Even though Niko went through hell he still has a little bit of closure. Johnny and the remainder of The Lost have jack sh*t.

Give TLAD's theme another listen, particularity at the end of the game. It sounds depressing as well with it's bleak guitar riffs. Even the name of the expansion 'The Lost and Dammed' offers a lot to it's theme. They are dammed regardless of what they do to try to avoid that eventuality. :)

Cheers.
