Just a PSA, but the old glitch from last gen still works.

Make a new character, play till you reach level 6, go back offline, back online, prompt to change apperance, disconnect at confirmation, back online, select regular character, confirm change apperance.

For those that wish to correct or create abominations. You're welcome.

Just do solo races. Its not exactly quick but it gets the job done.

 

What system are you playing on? I could try to host some high RP missions if you're on Xbox One.

Possibly. I created the character last night and finished the tutorial. Went to single player, went BACK to MP and didn't get the prompt leaving me to believe it was removed.

 

So I just played him until I could buy a garage (which is level 5 I think), then quit and went to bed.

 

Got up, got back on, that's when the prompt came up. I was so upset with how my transfer character came out that I immediately tried the glitch and it worked. Since then I've fined tuned him at least two other times.

 

As long as you don't select yes or no with the *new* character's change appearance prompt, it seems you can just keep using it. But I think you may have to get level 5 or 6 to get the prompt to appear (unless sh*t was just glitchy last night)

No wonder the glitch wasn`t working for me on last-gen; I didn't level the character up to level 6.

why isnt "change character appearance" a feature is beyond me...

I'm sure it will be soon, but don't be surprised if it costs a good bit of change.

Yes, every time this is posted, the poster fails to say you can only have one character because you need to do this with a fresh second character.

I wondered the same thing as you. I tried today with my second character after leveling her to level 6 and for some reason it didn't work. I had to work up a default guy from scratch. Maybe wait for someone to clarify, but for me trying the glitch on my old character didn't work.

Why did you disconnect from the internet when it gave you the message for editing? Also, once again, can I delete my secondary character anytime I wanted to?

This still work? My guy is way too pale, honestly my char on last gen looked better/more like me than the new gen version....so I'd like to correct that.

Just a heads up to everyone having issues with the change appearance option coming up, it takes a while after leveling up to 6 (when I did the glitch on LG it took aprox. 2 or 3 minutes for the screen to pop up). You're gonna get a ton of notifications of all the stuff you unlocked, then as soon as the "flight school is open" or whatever notification goes away, it should come up. I know it takes a while to level up as it is, but a little bit more patience is all you need. :)

Yes.

 

However, you may want to complete a job after using this glitch in order for progress to save. I'm not sure if this was common knowledge, but I found that my game was not saving at all after using this glitch yesterday. :p

I can edit my character anytime I want now using the glitch.

Got a level 6 saved up ready to load whenever I may wanna change em up :D

Not even on next gen but how hard would it be to just add a feature where you pay 100k or 200k and gt to change your character.

 

It's dumb sh!t like this why people get annoyed at Rockstar.
