Holding X on PS when driving causes you to crouch down now. Not too sure how useful this is for evading cops though.

So to summarise I've redone all my personal plates and they've all stuck on the cars so I think the

"scramble" was a one off so although it may suck once you've redone the plates they should

stick until the next time this occurs (hopefully never!)

What does A/X button do while in a car? It used to be the handbrake but now my character just seems to duck down behind the steering wheel. I went to settings > controller but it doesn't say anything about it.

 

Also, what's happening with the 30 player lobbies? I was just in one and there was 16 players. Could be a coincidence that there's the exact same number of max players in the old gen but I went into a race and it said 1-16 players too.

 

I am a little disappointed with it, I think I was most looking forward to wildlife in the online. Can you imagine chasing someone in a car out in the middle of nowhere, you shoot out their tyres and they decide to run for it. They'd actually have to consider the cougars and any other dangerous animal but nope still nothing. The graphics are great though, it definitely feels nicer and the character creator is brilliant, I love that you can have previous characters from other R* games as the parent and the amount of options is almost scary. Like skin damage, being able to make your nose broken etc.

 

All in all, it might just have been worth my money. I'll have to try it out properly at the weekend.

f*cked myself over with my Sandking.... Was so happy everything transferred smoothly without issues. Took a few vehicles to LCS to update stuff and I went through the gas tank options and BAM the f*cking running boards came back and stuck. Ugh Hopefully there will some way of getting rid of the running boards on the Sandking in the future.

 

Oh thank heaven I was able to get rid of them! I forgot about the trick with the rat-loader to get rid of the bed and I tried it with the running boards and was able to get rid of them. phew...

The Dodo looks like a Beaver or something and the Mammatus looks like a 172. The Dodo has a radial engine, Mammatus has a flat one. Definitely not the same plane.

That said, nice thread. Good to see it all compiled in one place and I will be buying a Dodo as soon as I go NG.

Also....the fencing near both airport entrances can't be smashed down. Aswell as the fencing near Northside landing/takeoff strip. Same with the ones behind the buildings. Outer fencing. Tested with both Monstertrucks, Tank (both ram and cannon fire), and various other explosives. Gates still don't open for you.

You were almost there. Settings > Controller > Alternate handbrake to on I THINK. Play wit the on/off until X becomes the handbrake. I couldn't get used to it either.

R* says no, but there is NO reason you can't simply change your Linked PSN account BEFORE trying to transfer;

 

All you do is Unlink it from your current PSN account and then link it to the New PSN account, just as if you were going from PS3 to Xbox One. If you can do that then you can do this. The information is NOT stored on your console it is stored on R*s cloud servers and in their systems. I currently have my account linked to a PSN and an Xbox Live, but I have switched which PSN it is linked to many times before, mostly for exploits but it is certainly possible.

 

All you do is Go here:

You Choose the account you want to unlink, in this case you PSN,

Then you click the "unlink" button, it is very VERY easy.

And NO you do not lose any progress, I have don't this several time, in fact I have done this to get different tire smoke colors, and different crew emblems, even the checker board pattern(which is a error from having an emblem on but not being attached to the social club) and even while you are unlinked you can still play in online you simply will not gain any Crew Rank, not until you re-link the account to whatever system you are playing on. As I have said I have linked my Social Club account to my Brother's PS3, My Friend's PS3, and currently to my PS3 and another Friend's Xbox Live account. And I have never lost any Rank, Crew Rank or anything and I have had Characters from the beginning of Online.

Thank you, I will avoid going into LSC at all in my Sandking, but the Glitch you are referring to is the "-Remove parts at LSC normally only done by Save Editor:" and can be found at my Text Tutorial Section(currently still for PS3/Xbpox360) but it obviously works.)

I too have noticed this, none of the 4 spawn locations seem to work, only the gang cars, none of the unaffiliated cars seem to spawn any more.

Has anyone else noticed that you can't zoom in with the sniper rifles, or am I just not finding the controls?

Use the ^ v directional pad. The left stick can be used to walk while scoping.

is there an option to change this? Do you move in third person as well?

1st and 3rd controls the same, you can toggle movement while scoping in the controls menu, I can't find any way of changing the button assignments though.

 

Edit. There are preset assignments in the control menu, southpaw allows zooming with left stick

there is as "alert/message" frequency or something like that option in the settings, maybe if you set it very low or off they will not call you. This is just a guess though.
