OK what has 1.20NG/1.18LG changed?

How do you even know if Xbox one has applied the update? I installed gta v and launched it straight away. I didn't get knocked offline to update or anything. I never use my xbox one so I dunno what the drunk little bastard gets up to when I'm not around.

Finally got my Son and Wife to bed, now I have the Big TV all to Myself, time to crack open that case and power up my PS4 and try them both out for the 1st time. I am getting on the game and will be reporting back with what info I find, picks and all(possibly some video).

So why does the new gen systems get these goodies and not the 360/ps3? Same damn game, different console/pc. Come on......

Because the systems and hardware can't handle it. There are people that still have PS3's from 2006 (including myself, although it's in retirement). The hardware will simply not handle all this extra graphics, animal streams, etc etc.

I think he was referring to the vehicles. And they're new gen exclusive, it has nothing to do with hardware.

 

 

I just wish the 360/ps3 got the stallion

Not sure if this has been mentioned.

Hearing reports that the online blip system (PS4/XBONE) may have been reverted back to GTA IV style. Other players will only show when in close proximity.

I'd been asking for them to remove blips altogether but this would me a welcome addition imo.

Unlike the 360, you don't get kicked offline when updating on xbox one, so it should be done. Think I read it's done automatically with no notification aslong as you're connected to teh internet.

I have Checked for Updates (PS3) and it says The latest version is installed. If I go to my Game Data and the GTA V - Install I am sitting on Update 1.17.

 

With no glib remarks, can someone please explain why I have not Updated to 1.18 (or 1.19?). I am sure many people are wondering this.

I think he means all the new vehicles, weapons, and missions. Surely a Xbox 360, or a Playstation 3 can handle a few new cars, planes, guns, and maybe even first person view. But I can understand the whole graphics part because there's not a chance in hell 7th gen would be able to handle the new beautifully remastered San Andreas.

 

That is what I meant. We should get the vehicles and weapons too. If this is how it's gonna be (forcing us to upgrade to new console/game for content) then I'm gonna let my LIVE subsciption run out (Dec 1st) and move on to other PC games.

To be honest, GTA V was damn well made to even run on those old consoles, pushed to its limits. I would fully support the game moving to new gen as having last gen just holds things back. I'm not trying to be a dick as I know people cant afford the new consoles right now and I have had to be really cheap on food and stuff this month after buying one lol so i understand.

 

But if we want to see improvements in gaming quality and creativity, we have to let them go, 8 year old hardware guys. To see Online realistically expand in what Rockstar wants it to, current gen is the way forward.

 

Also if ps3 users were also given all this content, that wouldnt drive people to get the PS4 version (obviously depending if you want this stuff), there needs to be new content to make people want to buy it. Some would even argue its not enough to make people want the new version but thats down to preference.

 

Heists are coming in the next update to GTAO, this doesnt necessarily mean in the next patch as update and patch are two different things sometimes.
