This is a Q&A thread for next gen versions.

 

For people who don't have the game, or don't have PS4/XB1 can ask "so in the PS4 version does this happen?" or "how does _______ feel in the NG version?"

 

1ST/3RD PERSON LOBBIES:
Q: Is there a first person/third person only free roam? I thought there was but I can't see any options.
A: Servers are only split between free aim and assisted aim. Activities can be camera-locked by the activity host, not in free roam.

 

1ST/3RD PERSON VIEW:
Q: How do you change views? There's no select button.
A: You press the big rectangular touch-screen button down and it cycles between the views
Q: Is there a way to switch in between targets instead of having to re-aim?
A: If you are using Assisted Aim - Full, you should be able to switch between targets as before
Q: So if I'm first person in a plane right and one of my engines stalls and sets on fire, does any lights or sounds or indicators tell me that this happened or am i "flying Blind" sort of speak with my engines?
A: There are no warning lights, but warning sounds
Q: When looking around in first person while driving, does your 3rd person model's head move along with it?
A: Yes. I did this with my friend on release. We were driving around, I looked at him, then told him to look at me lol it can look creepy
Q: In first person mode how does running work? Previously holding A would allow you to jog and then tapping A would allow a sprint. It seems with F.P. view there is just a sprint option when you hold down the left thumb-stick (a la F.P.S. games) When you run out of breath you then have to go back to walking. There is no jog option to allow you to continue running while regaining your breath. Is the walk more of a jog now or is that option unavailable in F.P. mode? Thanks....
A: Running online is achieved by holding X instead of tapping X. In story mode, you still need to tap X. To walk, just barely push the left analog.
Q: What exactly does it look like when you're in the car with a hooker in 1st person, and when getting a lap dance in 1st person (Does it force the view to be changed, etc.)?
A: When you pick a hooker up, you can change the view to 1st person - the view isn't locked, but is limited. In Story-Mode it is more 'graphic' meaning the angle shows more obviously what is going on (not that it isn't obvious from what is happening anyway)...
Q: Is it possible, while driving in first person, to have the camera for when you look backwards be in third person? If so, what settings would have to be changed to make this possible. Thank you. :)
A: I don't think there is such an option. However, I do know that cars with covered rear windows (such as the Infernus or Bullet) will force your camera to go into third person while looking back when driving in first person. I hope that helps you a little bit.
ADDITIONAL APARTMENTS/GARAGES:
Q: Can you own more than two garages / 3rd apartment/garage?
A: No, I checked and it asks you which of your other 2 properties you want to trade in...
AIMING:
Q: There is a new aim mode (free-aim - assisted). Anybody know what the assist is?
A: Points your gun in the general direction of the enemy. Most FPS shooters use this, so it's similar to BF4's aiming mode
Q: Why can't I zoom in with the sniper rifle when I push the right analogue stick forward/backwards?
A: The default controls have changed on PS4, your character now moves around when you use R3, to zoom in/out use the D-Pad (up and down).
Q: Is there a way to switch in between targets instead of having to re-aim?
A: It depends on which aim setting you are using, on Aim Assisted - Full, R3 switches targets when you move it left/right
Q: Is there a setting that can change aiming in first person so that pulling left trigger to aim goes straight into iron sights, instead of that awkward hip fire aim and having to push the stick in for iron sights?

Q: How to use iron sights?
A: On PS4. while aiming your gun in first person, you press R3. On Xbox one you hit the right thumb-stick
Q: How do I change weapons while driving?
A: On PS4 you press square or swipe left or right on your touch-pad.
ASSISTED AIM / FREE AIM - ASSISTED:
Q: If I set my targeting mode on 'Full', will I be putted into different lobbies then?
A: I assume the game only separates free-aim and auto-aim players into different lobbies, but maybe only 'true' free-aim players get their own lobbies?
Q: Free Aim Vs. Assisted Free aim, what is the difference and are they placed into same lobbies?
A: Free aim is by itself. Anything with "assist" in it's title is another lobby.
Q: Are any of the aim types grouped together in lobbies. Traditional with aim assist? Is traditional just the ability to cycle targets while continuing aiming?
A: Free aim is by itself. Anything with "assist" in it's title is another lobby.
ANIMALS:
Q: Are there animals in GTA Online / List of new animals?
A: Animals? No? :( / Appears there is no animals online, haven't checked everywhere, but you can't miss them in SP so its unlikely.
APARTMENT ACTIVITIES:
Q: Which apartments have the dart boards?
A: None
ATOMIC BLIMP:
Q: Are the blimps available online, or are they just in single-player?
A: Blimp are not available online, the Xero Blimp is only available in Story Mode.
Q: Can you also fly the Atomic blimp in the N.G. version? (I realise the Xero blimp is better, but I'm just curious)
A: No, the Atomic Blimp has been replaced by the XERO Gas one - which not online.
BUILDING INTERIORS:
Q: Did they open up any new buildings?
A: I checked the map and there are no new stores, so this is unlikely
BUSHES / NETS:
Q: Are nets and bushes still indestructible?
A: Yes. :(
CAR CUSTOMISATION:
Q: What are the new customization options for cars?
A: Just Neon under-lights. up to 30k for lighting set-up and 6-7k your light colour of choice.
CHARACTER PHYSICS:
Q: Can you prat fall online in 1st person? If not can you prat fall in single player in 1st person?
A: Yes, you can apparently (although I have not seen this) because you can turn this option on or off in the control settings (Rag-doll On / Off)
Q: Why can't I jump when I have the phone displayed?
A: I am not sure if this is intentional or a game-bug at the moment
CHARACTER APPEARANCE:
Q: Can you make further character appearance/build changes AFTER the initial PS3/PS4 switch?
A: No
Q: Are other characters blurry online (blurry tattoos, crew emblems etc.)?
A: No
Q:Sorry If this has already been asked but are other players tattoos now nice and clear?
A: Yep they're clear, they actually look good now instead of blurred crap.
Q: Long hair and beards for online characters?
A: Negative, but current facial hairstyles have been optimized so they don't look like they've been painted on. I guess current gen have the potential hardware for future beards.
Q: Are the female characters boobs still halfway down their chest? Lol
A: I just had a quick look on Snapmatic and it appear so...
Q: Can I change my char's looks, how do I do this? On last gen there used to be a second chance to change your appearance, but haven't had it yet.
A: No, unless R* let us use the character creator like they did the last time after one of the updates was released.
CHARACTER SLOTS:
Q: Are those three character slots still locked? Can we have more than two characters now?
A: There are only two character slots, so no you can't have 3 characters
Q: Can I now create another character on my PS4 without my original character disappearing? I guess what I am asking is if it possible to have two characters on next gen? I am a bit worried the new one will replace my other one. Thanks!
A: Yes, I have done this - I made him look like John Marston using the 'special parent' option you get now (you also get Niko Belic if you prefer) :santa:
CHARACTER TRANSFER:
Q: If i change the appearance of a character that i transferred, will the character stay the same or will it change?
A: It will change on the console you changed it on, after you transfer you can change it only once (AFAIK)
Q: Can you transfer both your Xbox 360 and PS3 characters to one current-gen console?
A: No, you can only transfer your character once.
Q: On PS3 if you unlinked your SC account on one account and put it on another will you be able to transfer it with the same rank, items etc.?
Q: Do you lose modded money when you transfer?
A: No, someone with modded money who has transferred has confirmed this
Q: What exactly transfers from last gen to next gen when you transfer characters?
A: Primary and secondary chars and all assets and money transfer all at once.
Q: Can you transfer both your Xbox 360 and PS3 characters to one current-gen console?
A: You can transfer multiple accounts to one console so I don't see why not
Q: Is it true you lose your money on prev gen when you transfer? Or do you keep everything on both?
A: No, you keep everything
Q: If you have two characters, do they both transfer or can you transfer them individually?
A: If you have 2 characters they both with transfer over. You can't pick just one. If you only want one character over you will need to delete one character before you transfer or do what I did and transferred both over then deleted my second character.
Q: Do Cars, Weapons and Apartments transfer over?? Just want to be clear on this.
A: Yes
Q: Cars still retain all upgrades??
A: Yes
Q: Does Shark-Card money transfer?
A: Only if it is X-Box 360 to X-Box One or PS3 to PS4
Q: Confirmation if a character's crew rank transfers over as well?
A: My crew rank increased after doing a contact mission and some DMs, so probably yes!
Q: If I create new character on the X-Box One/PS4 before importing my old character from Xbox 360 will I get the exclusive stuff before or after I import him/her? In other words will the Dukes 'O Death and Stock Car races ect be available before I import my last gen character even if I link my account without importing a character?
A: No, that stuff is off-line. You need to transfer your old PS3/X-Box 360 account to PS4/X-Bone to get the exclusive stuff: Special/Collectors editions vehicles/weapons, the regular 'Dukes' and the 'Dodo'.
Q: So I made a fresh character last night because I couldn't transfer first. Now it will let me. But from the text I get it sound like if I do transfer my character I created last night will be deleted and the money he has will transfer and combine with my transferred account. Is that true? Because I already redeemed my 800k and would really not like to have to start all over with $0 just to get the exclusive transfer content. Or is it possible to transfer accounts & combine money, and then just make a new account and gift that one all the money I have?
Q: What's the procedure for getting two existing characters on the same account transferred? As in, is it a case of 'go into new editor/mugshot screen, select/edit character, enter GTAO - then do the same at a later date when first selecting character #2 on the new console' - ? Want to make sure I do it Properly - don't want either of my characters vanishing into the digital ether because I accidentally 'chose one over the other' or something unintentionally daft like that...
A: You transfer both characters at once. When you select the character for the first time to go online you are then prompted to modify their appearance. When you switch characters you will be prompted a second time.
Q: If you delete one of your transferred characters (and you haven't yet used that character) and make a new one then delete that one afterwards, will you be able to transfer the other character again?
A: No, you can only transfer characters once
Q: My 'test' account (CFW PS3) created just two days before launch has access to all the loyalty rewards.
Only did Franklin and Lamar. BUT.. my legit account transferred from an OFW which has a year of Online playtime does not have these cars (and sub) unlocked. I've almost completed the story.
Q: Is it possible to get back your progression in Story-Mode after transferring from 360 to one??
A: Nope, unfortunately not.
Q: Can we transfer 1 or 2 characters from Current Gen to Last Gen?
A: If you mean PS3 to PS4 or X-Box One or X-Box 360 to PS4 or X-Box One, the answer is 2 - if you mean the other way around (as asked above) the answer is 0!
Q: My question is..is the player transfer issue fixed on the X-Box One after this mornings patch??
A: Ton 1 NL says: I had no problem what so ever this morning so just go for it.
Q: Can anyone shed some light on this? I've transferred a character from PS3 to PS4 with great success. Can I now create another character on my PS4 without my original character disappearing? A: Yes you can still have two characters. If you had two on PS3, they will both transfer over to PS4, in that case you could delete one and make another. Sounds like you only had one on PS3, so making another should be no problem.
Q: Do have to have the same PSN so I can transfer my character over to PS4?
A: Unfortunately yes it must be the same account if you are transferring from ps3 to ps4 (or 360 to One). The transfer works through your social club account, and you can only have one console family ID linked at a time, so there would be no tangible way to transfer between accounts.
Q: If you are in a bad sport lobby and transfer to a new console, are you still in bad sport on the new console?
A: Yes
Q: Does the K/D R Transfer to New gen?
A: Yes it does along with everything else
Q: If you transfer your character(s) to the NG and delete them from the OG will it affect the characters at all in NG?
A: No
Q: Can your character be transferred to both PS4 and Xbox One?
Because is the character transfer, it says 'only one set of data can be transferred per account,' and to me, that sounds like you can only do the character transfer once on your Next Gen account, not that the character can only be transferred to one Next Gen account.
A: No, you can only transfer your character to either PS4 or XB1 once.
Q: I don't have PS+ And don't intend to get it anytime soon, will the transfer work fine without it or will I need PS+ in order to use the Transfer? After I've linked my SC club account will I receive the returning players DLC content? or is there something else I've got to do for it to work?
A: You have to be able to load online to transfer your character, without plus you cannot access the online functionality leaving your PS with limited capabilities. If you buy ps plus it will cover every sub account on your system, at 50 dollars a year it is worth the price. You could always try to make your name a sub account on a friend/family PS+ active system and do it that way, but you will still be without plus on your system. You will be able to access the content on your phone after you've transferred, check the vehicle sites online.
CHAT SETTINGS:
Q: I want everybody muted except my friends and crew-mates in online but I still hear people during my races and during the ending scoreboards. Any way to mute everyone by default? I am already set to Crew+Friends in Chat.
A: I checked, and the setting are the same as in the PS3/X-Box (?) you can only mute players in lobbies by going to their player-cards and muting them one by one
CLOTHES:
Q: In the PS4 version, did they fix the PS3 black pants issue (black pants in the have a weird purplish tint to them)?
A: Black Pants still had Purple blotches when I was playing earlier on the PS4 with the pants from the L.T.S. Update. I was surprised tbh
Q: Any cuts or biker jackets available clothing wise?
A: There are no new clothing items
Q: If you wear helmet that has dark tint, does your vision get darker when first person?
A: I don't own such a helmet, someone who does will have to answer that one
Q: Are there any new clothing items?
A: Nope. Or not as far as I've seen. Not sure about masks though.
Q: Does anyone know if the OG t-shirts are only available to first day users or returning players altogether?
A: Original Gangster logo t-shirt confirmed!
Q: It's still impossible to have a necklace, watch, arm-bracelets and earrings. Why can't have them all or in any combination?
A: I imagine it would be to do with 'clipping' issues, but I am not a developer so can't give you the exact technical reason
Q: Just out of curiosity, does the leather jacket glitch still work?
CONNECTION ISSUES:
Q: Has anyone had any lag or freezing?
A: No freezing or crashing (yet)
Q: How stable is the frame rate? I'm more interested in busy online areas with explosions and sh*t going around.
A: I didn't notice any issues with the frame-rate from playing in a busy (full?) lobby with explosions going off/etc.
Q: Has anybody had any luck playing populated servers? Don't know if this is a connection issue or something on Rockstar's side.
A: I played earlier and the lobby had 15 players, there were a few connection issues though, everyone left (might have been our connections though) Since then I have played in lobbies with 20+...
A: The most people in a session for me were 16, played a bit then lost connection. I'm sure it's because it's the first few days, it should get worked out.
A: I have also being playing tonight in public lobbies and the most was 15 players. The 30 players maybe just for 'jobs' i.e.. races/DMs/etc..?!
Q: Whenever I try to go online, it says I do not have permission. How can I fix this?
A: check the settings on your PS4/X-Bone and make sure parental settings allow you to play and/or the online features are activated/allowed
Q: I just booted up GTAV and went to GTAO. It then said "Could not download the necessary file to play GTA Online". What's wrong?
A: That happens sometimes. Give it a bit of time and try again. It's another case of Rockstar putting sh*t error messages in their software that bears absolutely no relation to what actually went wrong.
COPS/NPC A.I.:
Q: Are cops any "better" in this game like A.I. behaviours, etc.?
A: They seem less able to see you through objects based on my experience last night with a wanted level and being out of their line of sight. I can also enter my garage with a 1* wanted-level when the cops aren't around, before I couldn't
Q: Are the cops still ridiculous? For example, do cop cars still hunt you down on Mt. Chiliad if you sneakily murder two hikers?
A: Yep! In fact they're even worse this time around, as EVERY SINGLE cop shoots at you from their vehicles at 4 stars and above, not just the SUV tactical units.
Q: Is the mission Dry Docking still ridiculously hard on Solo? Or did they make any tweaks to it for Next Gen?
A: Dude pretty much everything is a lot harder, even the survivals. The A.I. is definitely A LOT more of a challenge in this game, those days of Ramboing are OVER lol.
CREWS:
Q: Do you stay with the same crew when you transfer or do you have to start a new crew?
A: You stay with the same crew, I transferred my character earlier, and I was still in the same crew in-game, on the Social Club etc.
Q: If i use a crew color to paint my car, will it stick even if i change to another crew?
A: For me the crew color stays on / Yes, the crew color would stay, but crew emblems would disappear.
Q: Is there only one crew-challenge available per day?
CUSTOM LICENCE PLATES:
Q: Can you still use Charles proxy to make custom plates via iFruit?
A: Charles still works by the way, can confirm, same with green windows and speedo modifications, all stick. Funny thing is that pure black window tint seems to show up on some of my cars that had it, and some that didn't. My save edited banshee with pure black tints is still pure black.
DRAW DISTANCE / RENDERING:
Q: How is the player rendering distance with snipers compared to PS3/360? It used to be like 1-2 blocks away maximum.
A: Much better. Like, almost double
Q: In the Online. Do they draw people on foot for longer distance?
A: Yes
DRIVING PHYSICS:
Q: Are the speedometers accurate???
A: Without an L.S.P.D. Officer by the side of the road with calibrated equipment to verify the speed of any players vehicle, we will never know! (ANSWER: Apparently not)
FREE GARAGE:
Q: What about that free apartment, you get it only if you have pre-ordered the game or ?
A: R* advertised a free 2 car garage but I think that was about it...
Q: How do I claim my free apartment/Garage? Can I exchange an existing property if I already have 2?
A: I checked, there is no free garage available on my level 1 character with no property, maybe that is because my transferred character already had an apartment/garage and a garage (i.e.. 2 properties already)?
GENERAL:
Q: Is this new version worth the $60+$50 for online+$400 for console+character loss?
A: Yes. I didn't lose my characters b.t.w.
Q: Do I need to download all 51GB before installing the game?
A: Yes, if you want to play online
Q: I have version 1.18 but my friend has 1.19 and I can't join his session. i thought the latest was 1.18 does anyone know what to do?
A: Tell your friend to download the update
Q: What did the 1GB update change?
A: Various bug fixes and improvements
Q: Can I play solo sessions without PS+? AC unity allows co-op missions alone if one has no PS+
A: No (pretty sure that is correct) the 'Solo' is still 'Online' so you would need PS+ to play
Q: Will I have to play through the prologue of the sp game again before I can access online?
A: Yes but only the first bank job in North Yankton and the getting the two sports cars for Simeon as Franklin with Lamar
Q: Curious about my friends list, will it move with me to PS4? Thank you
A: Yeah if you're moving from PS3. Its a PSN account so it works on any Sony platform. Cross family then you obviously can't play with your friends.
Q: I don't know what last 3 updates are for and at this point I'm too afraid to ask.
A: The last 3 updates for PS4/XB1 were just stability updates and to help fix the server and connection issues.
Q: Has anyone had problems with PS4 controllers being fragile. I was about to buy a PS today but the bloke in the shop lost a sale by saying they were fragile and he knew people who are on their fourth controller
A: There is an issue with the rubber on top of the sticks shredding. It's started happening to my friend who bought one on launch. I find the DS4 a really robust & sturdy kit, especially compared with PS dual-shocks. I personally can't fault it so far.. & I went through a fair few PS controllers..
HACKING/MODDING:
Q: Already hacked?
A: No
Q: Met any modders/hackers/god modders yet?
A: Not yet, and hopefully won't in the future
Q: Has anyone ran into a god mode person yet? :/
A: For PS4, I haven't seen any reports or evidence of any existing.
UPDATE: There is at least one 'G-Mode' method I have heard about, also $X million bounties and a new wall-breach method that allows players to breach into any structure in the game Online (I haven't tried it myself b.t.w.).
HEISTS:
Q: Any news on heists?
A: Some sources have side that heist will come out with either the first of second new update after the PS4/XB1 version was launched
INSURANCE:
Q: I've only just noticed this but why are we being charged for blowing up someone else's PV when they're in it? I swear they changed this back on LG.
A: You've always been charged for that, The only time you aren't charged is when the person inside the car has a bounty on them.
INTERACTIVE MENU (IN VEHICLE):
Q: How do I call up the interactive menu in a vehicle, there is no select button on the PS4 controller?
A: You now hold the big rectangular touch-screen button down and it brings the menu up.
MATCHMAKING:
Q: How is matchmaking? Do you still get 'trapped on the clouds' for two minutes, get disconnected randomly, etc.?
A: It probably depends on your internet connection, and the other players connections - please see 'connection issues below
MELEE FIGHTING:
Q: Did they fix the fist-fighting?
A: Yes, definitely.
MIMES:
Q: Has anyone seen any mimes?
A: Not yet, but there is one outside of the Suburban clothes store near the Richman Plaza apartment block
MISSIONS:
Q:When can I do missions cause no one is calling me and when I try and call someone they say I they will call me when one is available?
A: You need to unlock them by doing the early stuff you are offered, try not skipping the tutorial if you start a new character!
Q: Can you force contact missions to be F.P.V?
A: Yes, there is a new option in the settings to do this (Lock View)
MUSIC / RADIO STATIONS:
Q: Is the new music any good?
A: That is entirely subjective, there are some new songs - you may or may not like some of them depending your taste in music
Q: Are the radios synced up for all players like they were in last gen? In LG, the songs on the radio would be the same for all players, for example if Still D.R.E isplaying on West Coast Classics, everyone would be able to hear it at the same time. Is the radio still synced up on Current Gen? I heard someone say that they were unsynced on CG.
A: Yes they are all synced
Q: I heard an advert on the radio that was talking about being able to get flights to Liberty City. Does anyone know if that advert has always been there, or if it was added with all the extra songs? If it was added then it's either a massive, massive tease or a sign of something to come. I do hope for the latter!
A: One can only hope my friend
NEW CONTENT:
Q: Do what exactly of the new content (cars/planes/weapons) is online?
A: Some of the cars and some of the weapons: But the rail-gun, stock-cars, Blista Agogo and Dukes O' Death aren't online. Everything else is.
PASSIVE MODE:
Q: Will passive mode be as abused as it was last gen?
A: Yes, even more so if the reports of god mode are true. If R* did actually enhance passive to the levels reported you'd be stupid not to be in passive all the time. Hop out when you want to cause mayhem, back in to run away. It's gonna be a huge change to Free Roam.
Q: Is Passive Mode (apart from while in cars) like it was before 1.17, where you could turn it on and as many times as you wanted in a session without it ever being nerfed? Or is Passive Mode like it currently is on PS3/X-Box 360, where eventually, it will take you out of it on its own for certain reasons?

A: I've noticed my friends/crew show up as white dots. As I get closer the colors show up. Sometimes only half the circle is colored. I don't know why.
PRE-ORDER BONUS OF $500K STORY-MODE + $500K ONLINE:
Q: How do I get my pre-order bonus cash and the bonus 500k?
A: Apparently you have to put the code in twice. Once from story to PSN and once from online to PSN from start menus.
SNAPMATIC:
Q: I have a Snapmatic question. I was able to successfully transfer my 360 character over to Xbox one, I've also taken a few pics on the Current Gen version but when I go to Rockstar social to view pics or upload here they aren't there. I get this message: There are no Xbox One photos matching your search criteria. Is this just because Rockstar is still working out the kinks or is it on my end? Also I can view the pics on the game pause menu.
A: You have to click on the right thumb-stick to upload pictures to the SC now, R* added this as a new feature. Photos do not upload to the SC automatically as before.
Q: How does the "focus lock" option work when using the Snapmatic feature on the phone? It doesn't do sh*t for me. Playing on Xbox One.
STOCK-MARKET:
Q: Will there be a stock market for GTA Online like in the single-player?
A: I don't think so, but it is not impossible - only R* can decide if they are going to add that or not. BAWSAQ was supposed to be the Online stock-market, but it was never 'opened' on the PS3/X-Box 360 for reasons R* have never explained.
TATTOOS:
Q: Is it possible to change the colors of the tattoos on our characters?
A: No
TRAFFIC:
Q: Is traffic actually denser this time around? Or was that just an advertising gimmick?
A: I'd say it was an advertising gimmick. It might be bugged at the moment, but I've noticed that traffic is around the same as last-gen.
A: Yes, there are more vehicles on the roads now.
TROPHIES/ACHIEVEMENTS
Q: Which multi-player achievements carry over?
A: Yes, after I played around a bit - they started pinging up that I had got them one after the other!
Q: Game Progress – GTA Online progression will transfer including all unlocks, Contacts, Jobs, Trophies and stats. When they say this do they just mean the online trophies? Single player trophies won't transfer?
A: Yes, you start story-mode all over again from scratch. There are no save files or trophies/achievements, you do get the Online ones (i've got mine) after you have played online for a while.
Q: What about the trophies for being level 25/50/100? My character is level 198, am I not supposed to get those trophies as well?
A: Yes, I got all of mine, so you should have all of yours (not including Story-Mode trophies)

A: The job was transferred from last gen
VEHICLES

A: No

A: No, there are no new bikes

A: Story-Mode only, probably to prevent players from 'trolling' other with it 'griefing' them, etc.

A: You can buy the standard Dukes, but not the Dukes Of Death (Story-Mode only)

A: An air plane cockpit with windows and dials, plus a joystick I imagine!
Q: Has the top speed increased?
A: No, I ran my 'Around The Map' race and looked at the speedometer and it rarely went about 120 mph (in a fully modded Zentoro) however, in Story-Mode I managed to hit 200mph in a Comet stolen off the street today (using Franklin's special ability)
Q: Better bike: Double-T or Carbon RS?
A: The Double-T is cheaper, but according to the stats the RS is 10 mph faster (top-speed)
Q: Are there any improvements to vehicle handling and damage effects?
A: Handling seems better, the damage seems the same to me - I stole a fire-truck to test this out...
Q: Can vehicles purchased pre-1.07 patch now be sold?
A: Someone with such a vehicle would have to test that to be able to answer that one
Q: Can you sell any transferred cars? How much do you get for them - same as on the old gen?
A: Probably yes, probably the same as on X-Box/PS3 (would need to check that though)

A: Nope
Q: If you go out of bounds do you engines still cut off? will dolphins come rape you to death now?
A: Yes and no!
Q: Is the new monster truck Pegasus only?
A: Yes, you buy it from Warstock and it gets delivered by Pegasus (it does not get stored in your garage)
Q: How does the Marshall.. work? Is it a Pegasus vehicle, or is it storable? If it has different liveries, I'd assume the latter, but I'm not sure?
A: It's a Pegasus vehicle. It does have different liveries available and you can purchase more than one Marshall, so you would be able to purchase a U.S.A. livery one, a Jamaica livery one, etc.
Q: Is the Fixter online? On PandM Cycles?
A: No, I checked and it is on available on the Pedal and Metal website
Q: Have anyone seen or spawned any gang cars online with neon glow?
A: Single player yes
Q: Feels like the batti is practically the same now as the Sh*tzu? as in you can pull of a wheelie on both really easily

A: On the PS3/X-Box 360 they are only available in the collectors edition, they are available on the PS4/X-Box One version
Q: Has R* fixed the turbo glitch on the Xbox one yet? Or have they said when they're planning on fixing it? I have two entities now one turbo and one not turbo and I'm using the non-turbo for races now while R* gets their sh*t together.
A: I plan to check the turbo the next time I'm playing with friends. We will drag race a Turismo. One with turbo & one w/out.
Q: LCC Innovation and the Hakuchou, are they spawning in traffic?
A: All motorcycles spawn in story mode. I can't say the same for online.
Q: Can anyone explain why suddenly I lost my Dukes and can't buy another one or the Marshall? I lost my Dukes after resetting my console. -_- but I can buy another again.
A: No that's odd. I'd suggest reinstalling the latest update maybe? Did your console fail to save? Possibly a cloud save failure / not connected to Rockstar. It's odd you only lost that one car, usually if this happens your whole garage went... Good luck I hope you have no more losses.
VEHICLE SPAWNS:
Q: Have they fixed the permanent vehicle spawns (Caddy spawns at the golf club, Air Ambulances spawn on top of hospitals instead of Buzzards, Cargobobs etc)
A: No, I flew over the hospital in my Buzzard and there was one Buzzard, then I flew away and turned round and a Cargo-Bob had also spawned up there!
Q: Does the DLC stuff really spawn normally online and offline? (What about the planes like the Besra)?
A: Most DLC cars spawn in S.P. (except LE ones like Roosevelt and Sovereign), haven't seen the planes spawn, but I haven't been to the airport that much. In Online DLC cars rarely spawn, but even when they they're "Too Hot" to store.
WALL BREACHES:
Q: Are wall breaches patched?
A: Yes, I have checked the ones I know how to get into (car-park, shopping-mall, barbers, bridge), and also the LS International one where you could fly through it and go under the map.
UPDATE:
There is a new wall-breach method that allows players to breach into any structure in the game Online (I haven't tried it myself b.t.w.).
WEAPONS:
Q: Is the Rail-gun in the Ammunation? I couldn't see it.
A: Yes, and No... The rail-gun is for story-mode only. I went to Ammunation earlier and picked up the C.E. weapons and the hatchet, there wasn't any rail-gun for sale.
Q: Does the firework launcher transfer fine??
A: Firework transfers (with the ammo you have, you can't buy more ammo)
Q: Why is it I have a suppressor on my pistol but when I shoot from inside a vehicle it's not suppressed??
A: Probably just R* being lazy and not wanting to do 2 different animations for each pistol. Same reason some cars now have different interiors.
Q: If how does getting the hatchet and other exclusive weapons work? Do I just link the game to my social club account or what?
A: If you already have a social club account then they should be available, they were for me. You don't have to have the CE to get them on the NG either.

 

Q: How do i unlock the golf club and crowbar on GTA Online?
A: For the golf club, you should be able to get it simply by just going to the golf course and either scare or kill one of the golfers so they drop the club. The crowbar, as far as I know, could be obtained during the LTS that takes place at Cypress Flats or during the TDM "Cargo."

Edit: For those wondering what the issue is... Black pants in the PS3 version have a weird purplish tint to them, causing clothing not to match correctly.

Anyone on the Xbox One yet know which multiplayer achievements carry over? I think the rank achievements are obvious, but what about the win in every mode and all the other misc. achievements? I really don't feel like playing all those modes again. Some of those mini games are just plain boring.

You stay with the same crew, I transferred my character earlier, and I was still in the same crew in-game, on the Social Club etc.
