By the way guys; I forgot to tell you; i found A (Not "The") Jetpack 3-4 weeks ago but i kept on forgetting about, redo-ing the mission and taking a picture of it again (since the pic didnt save the 1st time i took it). It's nothing special, but it's a hydro-powered Jetpack that can be found on the yacht during the heist mission for Trevor. Enjoy.

Isnt it possible to load into creator mode with the SP trio? Ive loaded in as mike once. Plus along with the flying camera, when you test the map you can set yourself to be invincible, along with going through wallbreaches on last gen.

I have absolutely NO problem with that, I love to smoke a few joints myself when I can, but my question is.....How many of your theories are formed when completely stoned ?? Because (and no offence to people like Xmarqs who have been hunting since the beginning) much of the stuff I am hearing now sounds real cool when i'm wasted..but the following day I wake up and re-read the posts some people make and I think...WTF was that all about ? I am willing to bet it's not just me. That's why I only tend to post here when I am not stoned or drunk. It can totally derail the Mystery and before you know it we become Reddit. Just a friendly warning, if this will be solved it will NOT be solved whilst we are all stoned off our heads guys

 

So...who will admit to posting theories when wasted ?. (apart from Xmarqs)

Well as far as Recreational Drugs, I'm only using the tools the game provides me. You can't really be apart of the hunt without being apart of the hunt... heh.

And on a serious tip, this type of thinking is exactly what we don't want. You have to be under "Certain conditions" to get real results, but you can't provide any evidence? Sounds like the Chiliad Mystery all over again. Were the original finders of the UFO's under the influence or sober? I don't know and i bet nobody else does either so, to say certain things won't yield results or help in the hunt is absurd.

 

Please, tell me more about the universe...

I just posted this on Reddit, thought it also had some value here X as I hope it gives people some perspective between the crap and the very rare decent postings. Recenly on both forums all I hear is this kind of madness : "Two spiders webs discovered in game ....means what ? Think about it...TWO spider men..which in GTA terms means ...two Peter Parkers ! And okay, yes there is no Peter Parker in the game BUT in Amazing Spiderman 117 (1971 comic book) there WAS a character who was named Franklin PETERS...and he was black ! it can't be coincidence ! Rockstar are SO devious in hiding these clues !! Also if you add up all of the letters that form the Jack Sheepe sign, then subtract some of those letters, it makes up the exact number of letters that make the word "Doctor Octopus", Put that through an online anagram filter (and ignore a few letters) it clearly points to the Observatory which looks a little bit like the science building in Spiderman 2 with the Lizard. (Keep up with me now), now take a photograph of the Observatory and OVERLAY it on the mural (stretching the original image is allowed in this case as it fits my theory) then turn it all completley black in photo shop, turn it upside down and mirror it. Overlay the special edition black light map, shrink it by 8% because of the Infinity 8 Killer, then add in the famous hamburger sign lettering and we get the letters "Aajgkig ;;j; jgjhg" (in our own minds) and a phone number of "2442 4576 766". Let Whizzl make a video of my findings and add some special effects. THEN shine the space docker lights ON Whizl's video and honk every horn in the game on every car at 3 am AT the SAME time with all 3 protaganists in a full moon in Epsilon Robes before pushing an orange juice sphere up Mount Chilliad. Then drive at 88 mph on a train track in a car that has no resemblance at all to a Delorean that was really just a sh*t prize for finding all of the spaceship parts but has SPECIAL horns. Then try and have sex with Jock Cranley's ex wifes ghost (on top of the Fort Zancudo bunker in the green UFO lights) whilst another protagonist is aiming a sniper rifle at the Penris building. I believe at this point you will unlock the secret Solomon mission. This is what we really should be concentrating on. I'm not on a 100% right now and I don't own the game, but if someone can test this theory please ? (even though I am so arrogant I KNOW it is 100% correct)." ( EDIT this will not work unless you play a full Karma play through and only choose the secret option D at the end by killimg Lamar in a random Jetpack accident where he crashes into the - as yet undiscovrered - 4th flying UFO )

Another problem is this. if YOU don't understand someone's theory then that's partly your fault/ It's a 50/50. They are not explaining it the greatest or in terms that you understand(doesn't mean someone else wouldn't), but for you it needs to be explained in a different way and that's fine.

 

The problem is when ego comes into play(realized or not) and people not understanding turns into "That's crazy!" because you don't want to simply say "I don't understand, could you explain more thoroughly please?..."

 

If ANYBODY doesn't understand anything i post then it's a 50/50. I'm not calling anyone "Crazy" because they can't comprehend what i do, but i get the opposite in return all the time. My goal is always to come together and find a way to communicate the idea correctly for each person to understand, BUT if you people don't tell me what it is i'm not detailing enough then i can't take any blame because, as we all see, i'm at least trying to solve this thing and be part of the community in a helpful way.

 

It's hard to motivate people to look deeper into things. They have decided what the Mystery encompasses, how detailed it is and how detailed it couldn't be, simply out of ego.

EDIT: I'm not going to look at the finished version of a car from the outside and tell you how detailed and complex it is under the hood because, i don't know from the outside. I don't know the mechanics of engines so, i'm not going to tell anyone how complex they are, i'm going to ask for more details on how they work. A good way to do this is to start at the beginning with the very first and basics engines, not some spinoff Ferrari super charged turbo engine that is a copy of a copy of a copy.

 

If you didn't make the game or have any clue on how they are made then i would say you are crazy for setting limits on what is and isn't.

 

 

Lastly, nobody even want's to tear down my earlier theory? I'm not sure you guys are even trying anymore, heh. I mean, if i'm doing all the legwork here then i could at least use feedback on my ideas. Positive or negative, whatever you want to say is all fine with me.

I've been sober since September 9th 2007, so there haven't been any loaded posts from me. I agree that Reddit is, and has been a mess for a while. There are some good hunters there, but they get pushed aside by the outrageous posts. I gave up on them back when someone's "important find" was rocks in the bushes by the Fort Zancudo bunker. The OP said that rocks shouldn't be found in bushes on military bases so we needed to pay attention to those rocks; they were important clues.

I love your theories man, you have been such an important part of the hunt from almost the first day, all I was trying to say is that recently you seem WAY out there with the Reddit guys.

Find out what doesn't work and you'll eventually come across what does.

 

 

 

Still though, I can't get past that we are looking at a bad copy. Which place in the game might have been interpreted to mean UFO/JP/EGG?... I'm thinking Fort Z since it has a UFO, the JP connection to SA, and Aliens are also linked to Military. So now we have to find out what the Military base was copied from, etc, etc. back to the original.

 

OR, we have to understand that everybody copied the Mural in their own flavor. So, we have to find the common denominators between the places and throw away what isn't copied throughout them all. Then we will find the important stuff and get rid of the non important, made up stuff.

 

The reason we can't decode the mural is because it isn't true. It's a badly interpreted copy(My opinion)

 

Common denominators between the 4 major areas are...

1.UFO(except at Altruists)

2. Eyes

3. Power lines.

4. Setup like a mountain(Mural)

etc, etc.

 

Non common denominators...

1. Jetpack.

 

No place has a JP so, it can't be a JP(it could, but not in my opinion) it most likely is badly copied in another persons idea of what they saw and thought it meant.

 

 

EDIT: Or the Jet Pack outside fort Z is the JP we are looking for. It does have red underneath(iirc?) just like the UFO at the Hippy Camp has red underneath.

Not finding anything from keeping the rules so tight would surely seem to make people delve deeper into things, but they just want someone to do the hard work and receive the answer/truth after it's been figured out for them.

The reason you guys can't understand what i see is because ia have the experience. I have been doing the deeper/metaphor thing from the beginning. You all just have to put in the time and really look into things to see the big picture of it all. It really is like a spider web.

 

 

 

My idea that got shot down about the Web on Chiliad being attached to the Cable Car station and meaning the wires(Which are repeated at the big 4 locations) What are the webs named in the game files? elec_web. Can't mean the electric wires though, surely not.

 

 

Yeah, i'm venting a little. Not directed at anybody, just frustrated is all. But, i guess when it comes down to it i really don't care whether some random people on the internet think i am right or wrong. I'm closer than they will ever be until they decide to change their paradigm.

 

Here's the shot! You guys can't and won't read an explanation that makes it all clear for you. You don't have the knowledge to make the connections so, barring a complete essay and book report like a website that takes years to complete, then you all might as well just give up(or do some research). You don't really want to solve it, you just want to know if there is anything to solve. Completely different.

 

I am in the group of people who have decided there IS a Mystery to be solved so, i look for the answers.

 

Most people are in the group waiting for confirmation of anything to be solved before they start to look, and if you don';t bring any type of "Confirmation in game" then you are wrong about everything. It's their fear of wasting time on a non-existent hunt, the fear of being laughed at and the fear of being rejected that keeps people from just simply enjoying themselves from day to day.

 

I guess i already found my Jetpack. I am flying high in life because of the direction the game sent me in outside of it's virtual embraces. Finding anything in game won't matter to me anyways. It will only be for the confirmation that am right from some random forum visitor's that i don't even know so, why would it matter.

 

I can't force people to come together and form a good community of hopeful's. People run towards the negative communities, it's just life, i guess.

July 1st I can finally smoke weed and grow, legally...for fun, in my state.

 

Yes I do post and come up with theories when I smoke. Nothing has really panned out so far...or maybe they haven't been investigated at the right times or thoroughly enough.

 

Sure, some of my speculations about the Hippy Camp being a map, red ships being arrows, and the Maze bank being an alien head, when viewed at night from of the coast, could be called drug induced delusions...but I don't see this stuff or apply it in real life.

 

My feelings are that a lot of the theories and ideas, even the crazy ones, hold water...to a point. We know they used real life locations, structures and parodies of people, then fiddled with them to make them their own. Knowing this, it seems natural and expected that one would take something familiar, notice something out of place and then apply an explanation for it. I think that's what we do with much of what is in the game. We apply what we know and how things should be to a game that mimics and parodies our world. Somewhere in there, meaning will be found or a direction to look.

 

I believe that our creativity and theories...tying things and coincidences together, finding symbols, references, etc...stretch beyond and exceed anything that R* came up with. I really think in the end, we may find that the answers lied in crappy tasks and puzzles similar to the style of Return To Zork...most of which made no f*cking sense...or that truly the only intention was to draw a certain audience into creating or expanding on the lore of the Gta world.

 

Of course it could all be just about repeated exposure to imagery. Maybe you will notice it also in the real world outside of the game and ask questions or jump down a hole of investigation. While nothing is forced upon you or really that in your face, you are given an opportunity or choice to look deeper. Maybe you are a 12 year old player and don't care about anything but online, killing and stats...this is your game. Maybe you do care and want to see beyond the game and take in all the easter eggs, hard work and attention to detail, including implied symbols...this is your game too....or maybe you even just like a good hunting and gathering expedition, conspiracy, mysteries...I have a game you should play.

 

I like most all of the theories, most of the time. Each seems to bring something, often old, sometimes new, into the mix. At least I can say i'm not bored.

I just learned of the abandoned mineshafts. Couldn't enter though. Is it impossible to enter? Is there a way in?

Are you on last gen or current gen? There's a mineshaft you can enter but only on current gen/PC. It's located in the Great Chaparral.

 

 

There's another mine in the Grand Senora Desert, you can't enter that one though.

 

PS3. Oh well, perhaps it's time to cave in and get PS4.

 

 

On another subject, and not that interesting, I noticed something strange by Vespucci. There's a building which I pass at night, and upon doing so I hear pedestrian screaming, but can never pinpoint the source. It's the screams made when falling. Perhaps some pedestrians got scripted incorrectly and they fall after spawning.

Will have to try I didn't know you could use Story characters (on PS4) would def' be better in the Offline version of the world with all the detail and props.

 

Only recently started creating content and exploring the Creator, spent hours and hours cruising around the map in an invincible Osiris the first time I tried it, really weird experience, flying around also seems to change the feel of the map making it feel like it's smaller and like one single object and island, and really gives a new perspective understanding to the game, somewhat diminishing the mysterious factor the island has.

 

I'm still looking for a way to glitch underground with the cam, mostly to search for interiors, which may not be possible as I think you can only see the interior by going into FPV on foot, and I think Rockstar patched it otherwise we would see Online Deathmatchs in the Comedy Club.

 

Anyone know if there are people searching for more interiors like the Comedy Club, Online Race Garage under the map? I'm sure with a PC all these things would be easy to do but I reckon the temptation to just fool around with crazy Mods would be strong for a lot of would be PC hunters.

 

 

 

 

On a Separate topic. GTA mysteries are making Rockstar good money, on new sales and keeping people talking about and playing and upgrading the game. I would not be surprised if a few people who have invested interest could infiltrate discussions like these and sway, influence people to look at the wrong things, and spread disinfo to prolong hunts when they get close to anything big...I'm am not suggesting it goes on here or that it happens at all, it's just something I thought could happen, seeing as so much money is involved.

Why do your two pictures look different? Theyre in the same location right? The 2nd pic looks like a jetpack though. I have never seen a scuba gear get-up that looks like that or has that weird shape. But yeah, the 2nd pic is it. Thanks for the photo.

 

Edit: Wait, nvm, from the map, it does seem like they are different locations. Anyways, maybe the scuba tanks are just hanging on top/in front of the blue equipment. But the blue thing doesnt look like anything im familiar with in terms of scuba diving. If you look closely in 2nd pic, you can see it has straps. It looks to me to be one of those hydro-powered JP's that lets you jump in and out of the water like a dolphin.

first see mural

find message on top (come back when story complete

complete game and somehow link the glyphs from hippy camp(possibly chilliad mound) or glyphs from chilliad it self to 3am/rain and see the ufo.

shoot/sticky bomb and try to land on ufo- realise its a hologram

try to find source of hologram*

look at mural ufo joins to egg (ufo is easter egg or F has hatched from egg as is a child of the mountain) realise there must be 2 other secrets,or even could relate to paleto bay sunken ufo.

back to hippy camp only othee place you see glyphs see beam me up fly up see ufo

jet pack man reminds you of san andreas or just through messing about you see green light at zancudo find ufo

3 characters 3 flying ufos one with bright green light, another above a sign saying beam me up and a hologram

to me next logical step would be to get abducted by one, although we havnt found where the hologram is being projected from which would have been a much earlier step.

 

slightly off topic maybe hologram is just a referance to how some scientists believe the universe is a hologram or maybe im just too high lol

i think we need to look at the mystery in logical steps (again) lol

first see mural

find message on top (come back when story complete

complete game and somehow link the glyphs from hippy camp(possibly chilliad mound) or glyphs from chilliad it self to 3am/rain and see the ufo.

shoot/sticky bomb and try to land on ufo- realise its a hologram

try to find source of hologram*

look at mural ufo joins to egg (ufo is easter egg or F has hatched from egg as is a child of the mountain) realise there must be 2 other secrets,or even could relate to paleto bay sunken ufo.

back to hippy camp only othee place you see glyphs see beam me up fly up see ufo

jet pack man reminds you of san andreas or just through messing about you see green light at zancudo find ufo

to me next logical step would be to get abducted by one, although we havnt found where the hologram is being projected from which would have been a much earlier step.

 

slightly off topic maybe hologram is just a referance to how some scientists believe the universe is a hologram or maybe im just too high lol

It still bothers me that the Chiliad UFO only makes noise for 1 hour. There have been theories in the past that it may be some kind of timer to give us a time frame to accomplish something. It just seems odd that it would stop making sounds in a specific amount of time. The way it disappears has puzzled me too. There was that recent find in the files that said an interior might spawn in certain conditions (full health and an unknown -1, 999 value I think) that makes me think there still might be something to the Chiliad UFO after all. I thought the -1 might refer to the -1 over the Fort Zancudo bunker, but that didn't pan out when I had someone in the bunker and at the Chiliad UFO and switched characters. I tried having a character in the light on top of the bunker and then switch, but I couldn't due to the wanted level. I might try a few things later on if I'm feeling better. This sinus cold sucks!

What if this mystery is much bigger than just the chiliad mystery.

 

It's GTA 5 yet everything is all about 3's.

 

Not forgetting that 3 is the magic number after all. If you've read Ready Player One then it gives it even more meaning.

 

3 protags, 3 UFO'S (If you either don't count the sunken one because it's Not flying or the chiliad one because is it really there? )

 

3 murals? Mount chiliad, textile city, and Richmond Glen?

 

Also the games plays in 3 parts, it's never referenced in game but the beginning is Franklin's story, the middle is Trevor's and the ending is Michael's up until the big one. After that its YOUR story. your choice of who to kill.

 

 

What if there was a perfect way to play each section of the game. Using the murals as guides?

 

I'm not talking about any kharma bullsh*t either. Playing the game as each character. Doing certain things in the correct order throughout each person's part of the story.

 

Also let me explain why I think the story is in 3 parts. First is Franklin. In the beginning in Los Santos you're Franklin. You go to Simeon for missions. After 2 you meet Michael and get fired. Then how do you make money? You try street racing and helping your friend's ( tonya's tow truck) even helping random people (Beverly) all to no evail. So you decide to go meet that guy who paid you for driving intothe car store window and offered you a "drink to explain how the world really worked"

 

You re meet Michael, see the things that he can do and then you do the jewel store heist. End of Franklin's story.

 

Beginning of Trevors.

 

I'll explain more if any one wants but I can't be bothered to keep typing right now.

Wouldn't Probe mountain also be labeled as a "mural" of sorts? That makes 4... Unless it's a map...

 

3 maps? Chiliad, Probe Mountain, and the blue map that you find copies of laying all over the city (or map, lol).

 

Sorry jp, just saying... I do, however, understand where you're going with this line of thinking.

 

For the record, I'm pretty high as well.
